In a small, dry town of Aridland, water was so scarce that it was more precious than gold. Drought had ruined the region for years, turning all he fields into dust. Twelve-year-old Luna lived there with her grandmother, Nana. While most people complained and begged for more, Nana treated water like magic, with respect and care. 'Never waste the last drop' she always said as Luna used it.
One day the town's well ran dry. Everyone in town was in panic. People argued for more water and some even tried to steal from one another.

But Nana and Luna remained calm. Nana walked to her garden and dug out a buried clar jar filled with stored rainwater. She collected the water over months from a small tin roof. Luna was surprised to see the jar. She asked: 'How did you think ahead?'
Nana smiled: ' We waste a lot when we believe there is always more. But if we treat everything like it could be the last drop, we learn to protect it'

Inspired, Luna started teaching other kids how to reuse water, share resources and how to avoid wasting. The town slowly shifted from desperation to cooperation.
Aridland wasn't just surviving, but becoming a better place. Every child was thought to save the resources they had. They knew that even the smallest act of saving could make a big difference.

She promised herself that she would continue this project and protect her legacy, not only by saving water but also by saving everything in general.

Luna gathered the children of Aridland once more and told them Nana's stories. She talked about the rainwater jar that Nana had hidden and explained how planning and respect for nature could've saved lifes.
With time, she decided to start a small water school where kids learned about planting drought resistant plants and building their own rainwater jars.

The town changed by time. Where there used to be fear and chaos because of the water scarcity, now there was unity and hope for the future. It was not only the children who joined the effort, adults helped Luna turn Nana's heritage into community projects.
Aridland started to green again, not just with plants but with ideas and kindness. The last drop was not about water anymore, it was about love, legacy and a little girl who grew into a leader thanks to her grandmother.
