Naim Süleymanoğlu, nicknamed Pocket Hercules, is a Turkish weightlifter. During his career, he became the World Weightlifting Champion seven times and won three Olympic gold medals. Considered one of the greatest athletes in weightlifting history, Süleymanoğlu broke a total of 46 world records.

Tanju Çolak holds the records for being the highest scorer in Turkish football history with 335 goals, the highest scorer in a season in the Super League with 39 goals, and the highest scorer in a single match in the Super League with 6 goals. 

Tanju Çolak is the only Turkish player to receive the European Golden Shoe Award.

Sümeyye Boyacı is a Turkish swimmer.

She competes in the S5 disabled class; freestyle, backstroke and butterfly branches. She won a gold medal in the same category at the 2018 European Paralympic Swimming Championships; she became the world champion in the 50m backstroke S5 category at the 2022 World Paralympic Swimming Championships.

Halil Mutlu (born Halil Aliyev[2] on July 14, 1973, Kırcaali, Uzuncalar Village) is a Bulgarian immigrant Turkish weightlifter, World and Olympic champion. He is a 3-time Olympic Champion, 5-time World Champion, 10-time European Champion, and has broken more than 20 world records at 52 kg, 54 kg and 56 kg. He was nicknamed Dynamo due to the records he broke one after another.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu (born 8 February 1994, Mannheim) is a Turkish national football player who plays as a midfielder. He plays for Inter Milan of the Serie A team. He is also the captain of the Turkish national team. He is known as a free kick specialist, known for his effectiveness from many angles and distances.
