Welcome to the wonders of electricity!
In this book we will be going over the key points of how electricity works and how we use it in our lives. Remember to listen carefully and enjoy today's story!!

Once upon a time, In a land full of teeny tiny particles, lived an equally teeny tiny electron named little E. Little E always loved to move around, but in order for him to zoom he needed a path just for him called a circuit!. Think of a circuit as like a road of wires that let him and his buddies move from place to place, bringing energy along with him.
Wanna zoom?!

Little E and his friends typically start their adventure at a power plant. some of these power plants use windmills, others use solar panels, and some use water!. these power plants are like big ol' parks that give little E all the energy he needs to light up the entire world. He then travels through wires to our houses, schools, and more!!.

Although Little E can be very helpful. He can be dangerous if not handled carefully! oh no!, if Little E were to get out of his wire path and touch water or any metal object, he can give a pretty hurtful shock!, That is why it is very important that you be mindful enough to not touch any outlets or wires in your home. and ALWAYS make sure to let an adult help you with anything electrical. Stay safe kids!

We should give thanks to Little E. for he is what allows us to see in the dark. computers that help us learn, refrigerators that keep our food nice and cold, or even just as simple as lighting up our bedrooms. without little E it would be very difficult to see! and it would be a much colder place. So, next time you decide to flip a switch or toy, remember Little E and all the cool things he does for us humans.
