This book is for my family , who have always been by my side.

That day, everyone was excited for the school prom. The students had been waiting for this night for months, preparing their most elegant outfits. The hall was decorated with colorful lights, almost like something out of a fairytale. But for me, this night was different from all the others.
In the inside pocket of my jacket, I had carefully placed a wallet so it wouldn’t get lost. It wasn’t an ordinary wallet. It was the only keepsake I had left from my grandfather. Carrying it always made me
feel a sense of responsibility. Maybe that’s
why I was extra careful that night.

While I was watching the crowd dancing in the middle of the hall, a memory from my childhood flashed in my mind. I remembered sitting by the sea with my grandfather when he gave me a rock. “This rock symbolizes patience,” he said. Years later, that same stone had found its place inside the wallet and came with me wherever I went. Suddenly, a voice from behind pulled me out of my thoughts. “Hey! You dropped your wallet!” someone called out. When I turned around, I saw that I still had my wallet — but someone else was holding one that looked exactly the same. Everyone froze. Someone shouted, “There’s a thief!”

Everyone began to look up, turning their heads in the direction of the shout. Panic spread quickly. Security rushed over to intervene. The boy holding the wallet looked completely lost. “I... I just found it on the ground,” he said, his voice shaking.
But no one was listening. People started accusing him immediately. I felt stressed watching it all unfold. Judging someone without knowing the full story didn’t feel right.

The atmosphere became tense. Some people were yelling, others trying to understand what had happened. Then someone shouted, “Don’t you want to hear the real explanation?” Silence fell over the room.
“He’s my friend,” the voice said. “He didn’t mean to steal anything. He was just trying to help.”
One of the teachers stepped in and said, “Let’s all take a moment to unpack what happened.” We all moved to the security room together.
