I promise, you won't regret it.

Hello! I'm guessing you're here because you fell for my epic introduction? Well great! You've come to the right place.
Just don't get too
excited and end up like this guy
Before we get into all of this, I want you to ask yourself a quick question. "What are we made of?" If you already know this answer, then you can move along; If you don't, let me help you out a little.
whisper, "It's on the cover of the book!"
Now we have the answer to that, let me ask you another: what are cells? No, they are not tiny cells with tiny monsters stuck inside them. They are more like teeny tiny irregular shapes that are important. They are the basic unit of life! You might want to remember that one. Fact: There are cells inside plants, so next time, talk to plants to make their day feel better. But you don't have to if you don't want to, I'm just saying.

Inside the cell, there are little cell parts that help the cell function. These are called Organelles! Wanna know the plot twist here? We also need "human" parts (that's not know you call them, it's more like "organs") for our bodies to function. Same for every other animal because we are all made from cells.

U say what!?
Although you know this, I'm sure you're wondering, "Well, Lin, if cells are so small, how do they create such big animals like elephants?" I'm glad you asked fellow readers! These tiny cells that are similar in structure group together to perform a similar function! like the skin or the heart. We are made from many different cells, not just one.

I'll tell you a step-by-step follow-up on how this works. After they start forming together as one, the cells create something called a tissue. Then, a group of tissues forms an organ. And then the organs come together, forming an organ system that makes an organism, like you!
Phew! That was quite a lot to say!

So now, you have learned a bit about cells. Are you ready for a pop quiz? It's okay, it's only a few questions. I'm sure you'll nail it.
I'm positive this cat just cheered you up.
