A collaborative story by the students involved in the project: Colourful Preschool Time.

Anthoula Zissi, 1st kindergarten of Makrochori, Greece
Once upon a time in a beehive in the forest there lived many little bees.
One spring morning they decided to go out and collect pollen.
Voicu Carmen, Eforie Nord Kindergarten, România
The six little bees buzzed happily through the air and landed on a colorful meadow full of flowers. They flew from one flower to another, collecting golden pollen. But soon, the flowers began to talk among themselves.
Happy Flower: "Yay! A bee visited me! She said I smelled sweet like honey!"
Sad Flower: "Oh no… no bee came to me. Did they forget I’m here?"
Angry Flower: "Hmph! I’m bright and pretty too! Why didn’t they choose me?"

Evangelia Baziou 29th Kindergarten of Ioannina
At that moment, some people came to cut the happy flowers. They were talking to the bees and did not see them. However, the sad and angry flower understood them and immediately alerted the bees by shouting BEWARE. They explained to the people how much they needed the flowers and their pollen to make their honey and thus the happy flowers were saved.
The bees immediately apologized to the angry and sad flower for not going to them, but they saw them that way and thought they didn't want company. "We always wanted to," they replied, "but we didn't know how to ask you to do it..."

Eleni Margariti,3rd Kindergarten School of Aiginio,Greece
The bees, feeling ashamed, promised the sad and angry flowers that they would visit them just as often as the others from now on. They diligently collected pollen from every single flower in the meadow, making sure no one felt left out again. The sad flower bloomed with newfound joy, its petals unfurling in vibrant colors. Even the angry flower softened, its bright hues seeming less sharp and more inviting.

Anna Stamatelou, 1st Kindergarten of Makrochori Greece
The bees and flowers became the best of friends. Every morning, the meadow was full of buzzing and blooming. The bees sang happy songs as they worked, and the flowers swayed gently in the breeze, smiling with their petals.
One day, a little cloud floated by. "Can I play too?" it asked shyly.
"Of course!" said the flowers. "We love rain—it helps us grow!"
So the cloud sprinkled soft drops of water over the meadow, and the flowers danced with joy.
