This book is about the real story of when me and my friends Addie and Calvin went to Virginia Beach for spring break with my brother, Kasper, but not with my parents. Instead, I went with Addie's parents.

First, on a Sunday afternoon, we put our suitcases in the car to start driving to the beach. Chris, Addie's dad (remember that), was putting all the Easter baskets in the car because we were going to celebrate Easter together and do many fun things during our trip. And I can't tell you what we did yet - it's a surprise! When Chris was finished putting the Easter baskets in the car we started driving. I waved to my parents.
Basically Addie slept the whole time, Calvin played video games with Kasper, and I looked out of the window. We even played music and "would you rather". It was fun!

When we arrived to the beach we went to get my favorite food - sushi! - and went to see the sunset. It was so beautiful! Then we went to the condo and Calvin showed me all the rooms. I was so excited!
The next day, when everyone woke up, me and Addie both smelled the delicious scent of Nutella pancakes and fruits. I heard birds chirping. I slowly jogged to the window to look at the beach. "Kids, come to the table for breakfast!" said Karinn (Calvin and Addie's mom). We went to have breakfast and Karinn placed several crepes on a plate and everyone took some blueberries and put them on their plate to eat with their pancakes. "Can we start eating now?" I asked, impatiently. "Yes!" I heard all the way from the other side of the kitchen. We started munching on the crepes while talking about weird stuff and about what we were going to do that day.
When we were talking during breakfast I heard that we were going to the beach on Monday, that day, and Tuesday. So, after breakfast we changed into our bathing suits to go swimming at the beach and the boys went to the basement to get skimboards and bunji body boards. Then we all went to the beach and played with the sand and swam in the ocean.
After the beach we packed our stuff while me and Addie collected the shovels and started walking back from the beach to the condo to take a shower. The boys came running after us so they can both take a shower at the same time. After the shower we grabbed a towel and brushed our hair and changed into comfy summer clothes for dinner and ice cream from the Blue Cow (an ice cream place). When dinner was served Chris called, "Come over for dinner, we have pasta and pea soup!" We ran for dinner and took our seats. I smelled the tasty scent of red sauce and fresh pasta. When dinner was served I ate all my fruits and veggies that came along with my meal.
The next day when we woke up I saw Kasper and Calvin playing video games together. I waited for Addie to wake up. I waited and waited, and finally I heard a yawn. She woke up! "Good morning, Addie! What do you want to do?" I asked. "Well, I have a Lego set I wanted to build with you. Do you want t do it?" "Sure!" I replied. Lego sounded fun. We went to the sun room and made a horse riding set. Time flied. It was already time for breakfast, and we got Cheerios! After breakfast I saw that it was really sunny so I figured that we were going to go to the beach. I just knew it. We went to change into our bathing suits and started walking to the beach.
At the beach it was so fun! We played and swam and even found seashells together. Addie told me that the following day we were going to watch the Minecraft movie and visit an aquarium! I got so excited! After the beach we went home and had some delicious hot dogs.
"Mmh, this hot dog is so good! I love it," Addie said. After dinner I went to bed and fell fast asleep, snoring loudly into the night.

The next day I woke up so excited. The boys were on their iPads, so I went to my room, found my book, and went reading it on the couch. After reading a chapter I paused to have my cereal. Then we went to the car to drive to the aquarium. Driving, driving, and driving! It was actually kind of fun because we played "would you rather" (my favorite game.) As we stepped into the aquarium building I immediately saw a lot of fish - next to me and even on top of me! I saw so many different sea animals. I even watched a movie about sharks and their habitat and why jelly fish sting you. My favorite part was when I saw a Comodo dragon.
After brunch we walked back to the car and drove to the Minecraft movie. I was shaking so hard that I thought I was going to explode with excitement because I love Minecraft. It took 20 minutes to get to the cinema. We got in line for the tickets and me and Addie and Calvin went to the little shop selling bracelets, lollipops, and magnets. With tickets in our hands we went to get popcorn and then headed straight to the movie. During the movie there were scary parts that freaked me out. But otherwise the movie was great! We drove back home and made an Easter hunt for the Easter bunny .
We then made the Scavenger Hunt! Here's how it looked:

You are at the beginning of the hunt. It starts in the kitchen!

I'm so exhausted, I want to watch a movie. Where will I go?

I want to take a break outside. Can you lead me?
You've finished! Now, go make everyone enjoy their holiday!
