This is dedicated to all the mermaids

Once upon a time, in the sparkling waters of the deep blue sea, lived a mermaid named Mergoddess.
She wasn’t like the other mermaids. While the others could swim gracefully in perfect harmony, Mergoddess struggled to understand why she was so different.
She knew deep in her heart that she had been sent to the world for a special mission, but she didn’t yet know what that mission was.
Growing up, Mergoddess felt alone. She couldn’t swim like the other mermaids, and sometimes, she felt like she didn’t belong.
Why couldn’t she swim like them? Why was she born different? These questions filled her heart with doubt.
But deep inside, Mergoddess felt a whisper of hope.
She knew she wasn’t like the others for a reason—but what was that reason?
One peaceful day, Mergoddess swam to a quiet place and prayed. She asked God for help, wondering how to find her purpose.
Then, she heard a gentle voice in her heart: “Mergoddess, you are perfect just as you are. You don’t need to be like anyone else. Trust that I have a special plan for you.”
At that moment, Mergoddess felt a warm light fill her heart. She realized she needed to love herself, just as God had made her. She no longer had to be like the other mermaids. She was exactly who she was meant to be.
Soon after, Mergoddess received her first task. It wasn’t like anything she had imagined. “Swim before you walk,” God whispered.
Since Mergoddess was a mermaid, swimming was easy. Her strong tail fins glided through the water with grace.
She felt the freedom of the ocean, feeling more at home than ever before.
One day, as Mergoddess swam through the crystal-clear waters, a new challenge appeared before her.
She heard God’s voice once again: “Now, Mergoddess, I ask you to become a breaststroker.”
Mergoddess felt a pang of doubt. She had never used her legs in this way before. How could she move like the other mermaids? What if she couldn’t do it?
But then, she remembered the message she had received: “You are perfect just as you are.”
Mergoddess knew this task would require patience—something she hadn’t always been good at. As she practiced, she found herself struggling.
Her legs didn’t move the way she wanted them to, and at times, she felt frustrated.
But Mergoddess remembered something important: She had to forgive herself for the times when things didn’t go perfectly. After all, she was learning. And learning took time.
