A Brief Guide to Fairies 

Fire Fairies:

Abilities: Can control fire and set things on fire, they can also make lightning strike, but only during storms.

Looks: Long hair the color of fire and the worse they feel the darker the fire color becomes. Huge wings the color of their hair.

Queen: Queen Ember

Water Fairies:

Abilities: Can control water, change temperature, salinity, tide, make bubbles, and can communicate with the creatures of the sea as well as water.

Looks: Long, flowing hair that is any color of water. Once in a blue moon, a water fairy will get purple hair.

Queen: Queen Coral

Earth Fairies:

Abilities: Can grow any plant at any time. Can make plants do anything they want and cause major earthquakes when disturbed or angry.

Looks: Brown or black hair cut to any length. Emerald green wings and flowers typically distinguish them.

Queen: Queen Jade

Sky Fairies:

Abilities: Can control the weather, and are exceptional flyers.

Looks: Long wavy blonde hair, and very large wings. They always wear light colored clothing

Queen: Queen Cloud.

Night Fairies:

Abilities: Can darken anything, turn the time midnight, and can change the brightness of stars.

Looks: Extremely dark hair, big black and gray wings, and white skin.

Queen: Queen Midnight.

Light Fairies: 

Abilities: Can brighten anything, turn the time to noon, can change the brightness of the sun, and always make people around them happy.

Looks: Very blonde hair, large white wings, and white skin.

Queen: Queen Celestia

Wonder Fairies:

Abilities: Anything you can think of because they are a mix of all types of fairies.

Looks: Every color of the rainbow. They are very beautiful and majestic.

Queen: Queen Pixie.

Space Fairies:

Abilities: They can fly without wings,(but Space Fairies prefer to use them) control stars, create and destroy nebulas, constellations, and galaxies.

Looks: Blue, purple, black, and occasionally blonde hair. They also have very large wings the color of their hair.

Queen: Queen Galactic. 

Transformations:

Every 100 years a fairy will transform into a different type of fairy, sometimes causing disaster. It can be dangerous if a queen gets transformed. 

 Chapter 1: The War

It was the Royal Council Meeting of the month.

Hello, my fellow fairies and spirits! It is my pleasure to begin this meeting with a thank you to all the attendants. I never imagined this many fairies would show up! Anyways-

Boooooo!

Nobody liked the night fairies. Everyone thought they were know-it-all fairies with big heads. But Raven Black, the head of night fairy council meetings, had something to say.

Please! I just want my village back. The Fire Fairies took it.

You little liar! I hate you! We did not steal that dumb village of yours!

 Ugh! Yes you did! The war started because of you! You are the reason everyone hates Night Fairies! 

That girl in the picture is my sister, Soft-Spark. She is a Light Fairy and has to embark on a quest. Sadly, she went missing last week. Now the quest can't be completed. We need to be kinder and give love. Then we will win this war. ALL fairies should unite. Not by kind, by love.

Hello! My name is Nebula and I'll be presenting for you today. My fairy type is the Space fairies...

The meeting went on as fairies stepped up to give their speeches. Raven sighed and packed her things. She left before Queen Ember could finish her announcements.

Waiting for her outside was a Light Fairy whom she had helped the day before. The fairy was a friend of her sister's. Raven waved and walked past the young fairy.

Chapter 2: Bella

Why, hello dearest Raven! How was the meeting? Tell me ALL about it. I'll get some tea!

Bella, I don't want to talk about it. And I have to ask you....why did you cut off your wings after you became a light fairy?

Well, I was a very different fairy. I didn't fit in with  the Night Fairies because I didn't want people thinking wrong things about me. So I left. But I soon realized the Night Fairies had cursed me when I left. The curse  was cast so that I could not fly. My wings ached in pain every time I flapped them. I couldn't take it...and before I could change my mind....they were snipped off and sent away.

So there you have it!

...WOW

Raven sauntered off to her room with a sad expression. She felt worried and scared. Raven pulled the night black covers over her head and settled into a deep sleep.

Soon, Raven had a strange dream.

The world had become a wasteland of desert. There was no life. It seemed as if nothing  had ever existed.

Queen Ember's royal assistant appeared in her dream and gave Raven a warning.

You must go on the quest your sister failed to complete or else this land will be reality.

Somehow, just somehow Raven knew to listen to this warning. Even though this was just a dream she knew to follow this advice.

Queen Ember's assistant dissolved and Raven jolted awake. The sun was shining brightly and birds were chirping. It was time to get up.

Chapter 3: The truth hurts

Yawn... I need to get dressed and put on makeup for the day.

Raven woke up and forgot all about her dream. She got ready for the day ahead.

Raven finished her makeup and got ready to change the world. Today she would show the Fairy Council that the Night Fairies were worthy of the land the Fire Fairies stole.

Soft-Spark? Is that you? 

Soft-Spark!

Oh. It’s just you, Bella.

Bella, will Soft-spark EVER come back?

Well, it would be a lie if I said yes.

 WHY DID YOU SAY THAT?

Raven feelings were extremely hurt by this statement.

She was so mad that she turned early morning to midnight while her wings were fully extended.

Whoa there missy, you need to calm down

Why should I!

Because if you don’t we won’t be able to complete the quest.

You mean the quest Soft-Spark failed? 'Cause if yes, I'm outta here.

Chapter 4: The quest begins

Bella smartly tricked Raven into leaving her house, but she didn’t know how to get her in the woods for the quest. Then an idea crossed her mind...

Can we go to my gramma's house? she lives in the woods. And I've been itching to visit her again. 

Raven agreed and Bella led her to a clearing that was clearly not fit for an old woman.  

Bella took Raven's hand and guided her into a large arena. Raven stopped and ran her finger along the marble pillars.

Is this where your Gramma lives?

                                      There was no answer...

 Raven watched her friend study the arena, and she soon knew this place was familiar to Bella.

Chapter 5: The others

Suddenly, Raven bumped into 5 fairies who were hurrying towards the center of the arena. There was one with large wings and bright blue hair, so Raven could tell she was a wonder fairy. The next was a light fairy with long, sky blue hair and a dress with shiny stones on it.

The other three flew right behind the first two, looking worried and rushed. Raven smiled at each of them and listened closely as they introduced themselves.

The wonder fairy apologized for bumping into them and helped up the two weary travelers. Then the light fairy smiled extra bright, and Raven immediately felt a sense of joy. Then she remembered that light fairies could make anyone happy with just a small grin. But the fire fairy was not kind or smiley at all. She glared at Raven and turned away. The other fairies gave her a glance and then rushed to help their new friends.

Raven wondered why the fire fairy was so rude to her. Then she gasped. The arena was tumbling down around them and the pillars were toppling over like trees! The fire fairy fled the scene quickly. So quickly no fairy but Raven spotted her hasty escape. Bella was screeching at the top of her lungs and pushing away the flames with powerful orbs of light. Raven rushed the other fairies out of the arena and they all took shelter in a tiny hut.

You mean Scarlett?  Sorry, she gets jealous..

Did that rude fire fairy cause this mess?

Raven shook her head in frustration and worry. When she looked up, the light fairy, Sunny, was squeezing her shoulder and sharing a grin. There was a warmth around the two as they hugged and Sunny whispered, " Welcome to our world" in a surprisingly sarcastic manner. 

Raven! HELP! Huurrrrry! 

Thanks, Sunny, but I don't know if we'll be staying here mu-

Chapter 6: Saving Bella

Raven ran back to the arena with deafening speed. She was worried about Bella. After what had happened to Soft-Spark, she feared every wrong move or deadly action.

Raven found Bella motionless and frail. The other fairies surrounded her and spared some love.

BELLA!!!!!

Raven picked Bella up and flew her to a small beach.

Bella, Bella, Bella, please wake up

As everyone else came in, Bella started to wake up.

Ughh, eh, what happened?

The explosion that Scarlett made knocked you out.

Lotus quickly explained everything.

SORRRRYYYYYYYYY, so HAAAA!

OH

Hey guys... WE HAVE TO CONTINUE THE QUEST!!

Chapter 7: Heroes don't give up ( at least not easily)

It took many hours, but they eventually got to the Forbidden Temple. Raven explained everything about the quest along the way. It took extra time because they had to carry Bella.

Raven stared down the long hall of ancient history. It was scary, seeing murals of all the failed quests painted on the walls. Especially because Soft-Spark's innocent face was there. 

The group entered a small room.

Someone who seemed important entered as well.

It was the most beautiful and majestic fairy Raven had ever seen. Her hair was golden with  stripes of red and orange. Her eyes were amber and her lips were a bright red.

Scarlett looked embarrassed as the fairy scowled at her. " Moooomm.." Scarlett groaned. The beautiful fairy sighed and shook her head before snapping her fingers. Two butlers appeared holding sacks with flowers in them. 

They showered the beautiful fairy with flowers and then she started to slowly dance around the group. The majestic fairy began to sing.

Oh my dears...

I fear...

That you aren't the only ones here..

Scarlett, my daughter, walk away or you I might slaughter.

I'm not afraid to be mean..

Because  I am the fire fairy queen!

She really isn't...

Shh! They don't know that!

Raven and Bella started to near the exit. They were clearly intimidated by the fire fairy who was scolding Scarlett and singing more cheesy songs. The other fairies followed and they left the small room.

Chapter 8: A makeshift sleepover 

Raven and Bella lead the group away  from the Lost Temple, extremely intimidated by the beautiful fairy. Then, Sunny shouted: " How about we have a sleepover?" Everyone cheered, excited to take a break from all the drama. Even if it was random, you had to admit it was a great idea!

Bella and Raven found a spot to sit while the others scampered around the wooded clearing they had found, looking for sleepover supplies.
