Emma is starting her first day in her Kindergarten classroom. 

Emma has never been to school before and is nervous to start school as she doesn't know what to expect! 

When Emma walks into her class she is a little overwhelmed. 
She sees all of her new classmates and they all look so different, she hopes that her new peers like her! 

Emma notices a classmate and she is not smiling at Emma, this makes Emma scared her classmate will not like her. 
She is about to pass by the classmate when she reaches her hand up to wave at Emma.

My name is Mariana, would you like to sit with me?

I would love to! I'm Emma

When Mariana waves at Emma, she asks if Emma would like to sit next to her! 

Emma is so happy and realizes that Mariana is sweet as can be! 

Once Emma has settled in and made friends with Mariana, it seems to be time for recess! 

All of the kids in the class get excited and Emma realizes her classmates are a lot like her when it comes to playing outside! 

Once Emma goes outside, she decides she wants to go down the slide, she is so excited! 

She waits her turn in line, and finally it is Emma's turn to slide down! 

She starts to go down the slide when she feels herself start to go fast...

She begins to go faster and faster until she eventually flies off the slide. 

She falls to the ground with a plop and as she looks up she sees a hand reaching out for her. 

Are you okay? My name is Hamza, are you Emma?

Yes I am Emma, thank you for helping me up! 

She looks up to see one of her new classmates named Hamza. 

Hamza reaches out a hand and helps Emma stand up after her fall. 

Once recess has ended its finally time to head back inside for snack time! 

Snack time is Emma's favorite time, she is excited to see what is for snack today.
