Yoshi's Ice Cream!Only $2.00 each!

Once upon a time in Lick-alot-ofice-cream
Ville, there was a poor man named Yoshi, who
owned an unsucessful ice cream shop. A
woman came to his ice cream shop one day.
She looked at the little, shabby ice cream shop
and said,
"I will make your buisiness great, but in
return, I ask for one thing in return."
Yoshi, eager to have a better shop
exclaimed, "Anything! Anything at all!"
The woman smiled, and replied,
"All right. I will get four of your finest cones to
give to my children."
Excited, Yoshi agreed quickly.

All of the ice cream cones in Yoshi's store
heard the news. Most of them were excited
about getting eaten. But four, Missy, Lucas,
Cocoa, and Paul weren't. They liked being able
to talk. They liked staying with Yoshi. They
weren't going to leave.
"Hmmm...hmmm...hmmm..." Yoshi mused.
He was thinking, "Who will I give to the
woman's 4 kids?"
Then, he saw Cocoa, Paul, Missy, and Lucas.
He took them one by one by one and put them
in a special storage room so they could wait for
the woman to come. Then, he went to sleep.

When Yoshi was gone, Missy woke up and
stretched. The others wondered what she was
doing.
Missy jumped from desk to desk, from
window to window.
"Missy, what are you doing?" Cocoa asked.
"I'm busting out of here!" Missy exclaimed.
"Why?! Are you NUTS!?!" Cocoa yelped.
"Noooo!! I wanna be FREE!!" Missy yelled.
"You're really not smart. We should just hide
in here, instead of running away!" Paul
shouted.

Missy didn't listen to Paul. She jumped up
and... was so tired, she fell asleep.

The next morning, Missy knew that she
couldn't wait until night again! She had to go
out NOW!!
But when she went to suggest this to Cocoa,
Lucas and Paul, Cocoa was crying, and Lucas
looked gloomy.
"Why is everyone so sad? And where is
Paul?" Missy asked.
Cocoa didn't answer, but pointed to a glob of
yellow, and an empty cone beside it.
Missy realized quickly that Paul had melted!!

"We must escape now. Paul is melted. We
don't want that to happen to us, correct?"
Missy suddenly felt determined.
Lucas and Cocoa agreed. So off went the ice
cream cones!
