Lisa was a young student in high school who never felt like the average girl with friends she could talk to. She has been a victim of cyberbullying since middle school, so her parents forbid her from all social media.

This made Lisa feel even more out of place at school. She didn't understand pop culture from social media and she never knew about social events happening. Lisa tried her best to fit in, wishing she had a way to meet other people.

Lisa decided it was time to talk to her parents about getting social media privileges back. Before jumping into a big talk like this, Lisa decided to do some research about how to be safe on social media.

When confronting her parents, Lisa discussed the importance of developing social skills and how she could meet an entirely new community of people to learn from with a social media presence. She explained that she would not have to use her real information if she didn't want to, and that she understands her privacy and rights online.

To her surprise, her parents said yes! Lisa decided to go online to try and meet new friends. Although she did use real pictures of herself, Lisa was known as Riley online. She knew it was important to be aware and safe on social media.

Soon after she began her dive into the world of social media, Lisa became a true member of an online community. For the first time, she felt welcomed and valued within a community. She had never felt so happy!

Lisa understands the danger surrounding social media, but now can also relate to how rewarding it can be. With this unique experience, Lisa decided to create a website spreading awareness about how you can create a safer community online for you and the younger generations. 

Thanks to the support of her family and the help of research, Lisa has all the things she has ever wanted. And now she gets to spread her knowledge to others, saving them from the hardships of the internet. The End!
