Jack lived on an island with other boys. Everyday he looked for food and made big fires. He liked to be the boss. He told the boys what to do. They danced and sang around the fire every night unaware to the lives Jack was hurting with his savagery. But as he was gathering wood for their fire he runs into a mysterious person. The person says to Jack, 

"Jack, you are hurting your friends. Fear has made you mean. Let me help."

 Jack responds rudely, 

 "I don't need your help! Weak people need help. I am a leader! I make the rules!!"

 The person responds with "Real strength must come from peace." Jack responds loudly with "Peace is for losers!"

Exposition 

Leave me alone!

Brutus lived in a big city called Rome. He went to  meetings and talked about rules. He had to make a big decision to betray his best friend.

Suddenly a black mysterious person appears right next to Brutus. The black figure says, 

"Brutus, there are other paths than betrayal. I can help you find peace."

Brutus responds angrily, 

"But Caesar is gaining too much power. If I wait Rome will fall." 

The figure responds calmly,

"Maybe, or maybe trust and wisdom will win."

Brutus responds coldly, "There is no time for maybes."

Exposition

Caesar must be stopped!

Oedipus was a king. He helped people and solved big problems. But he was worried about a secret. Whispers filled the halls, Rumors had said he had created his own accident. Suddenly a dark figure appeared in in front of him saying, 

"Oedipus, you are looking in the wrong place your mind blocks the truth. Let me help you."

Oedipus responds angrily

"I don't need help. I am a King! I fix problems I don't need help from shadows."

"Even kings need wisdom," The figure said.

"I only trust my mind" Oedipus said confidently.

Exposition

I can only trust my mind.

The figure angry with the Heros for rejecting his help, with their problems decides to send them to a place where they'll learn the error of their ways. 

While each of them are asleep they are transported to this new world.

Conflict introduced

AHHH!!!

Conflict introduced

They all wake up together in a strange forest.

"Where am I," Oedipus asked while looking around.

Jack turned to him and yelled "Who are you!? What's going on!?"

Brutus stands up and says "I am Brutus."

"I am Oedipus, King of Thebes" Oedipus says.

They all argued for a while until the black figure appears among them

"You all rejected my help so as punishment all of you will remain here for the rest of your lives," 

The figure then disappeared.

They all had a long journey ahead of them

Rising Action

They walked until they reached a village ruled by a evil king. The people looked sad and scared. Oedipus looked sad as he said 

"I once helped people. I solved their problems. What happened to me?"

A kind woman approached and shared food with Oedipus she said

"Jesus taught us to love and serve others, even when its hard" 

(“What Is the Love Language of Acts of Service?”)

Oedipus stayed for a while to help fix homes and share food.

"Helping others, it feels right," he said nicely. Jack and Brutus speak to the other villagers and find the location of the mysterious person being on top of the tallest mountain. 

Jesus helps our village have hope.

Rising action

As they climbed, fog surrounded them.

 Halfway up they found a waterfall full of monks meditating. Brutus asked "How can you be so calm with so much chaos in the world, Aren't you afraid of kings, or Gods?"

One monk smiled, 

"Fear grows from attachment. When you let go, your heart becomes calm" (LETTING GO”).

Brutus sat there with the monks for a bit thinking. 

For the first time he had felt calm.

How can you all be so calm?

Rising Action

At the top of mountain there was a quiet Taoist temple. The wind blew through the trees. Birds flew gently. 

Jack stomped around.

"Why is everything so quiet? Don't they fight back? Don't they hunt?"

An old man in yellow robes replied, "We follow Wu Wei, we do not force. We flow with the world like water," (Joppich).

Jack sat down. He watched a leaf float by in the wind. For the first time, he didn't want to control. 

He just watched.

No hunting?

Climax

The three heros yell to the black figure together,

"Take us home!"

Suddenly the black figure yells back 

"What makes you think you're worthy of going back?!"

They all respond trying to tell him how they have changed. 

The black figure responds "Fine! We will truly see whether or not you have changed then."

The black figure smiles evilly as all the heros world becomes dark and they are unable to see anything.

Take us home!
