STAY AWAY FROM MY BOOKS!!

Exposition
One day, Montag went to do his job, and he went to burn books. But this time, something was different. An old woman living with her books refused to leave her books behind. She was saved but the books were burned.

What do I do with these books?

Montag was shocked on why anyone would do that for books and why it is so dangerous. He was still lost and unsure if burning books is still the right thing to do as it is said to be dangerous. He had some books that he took and didn't know what to do with them. But he starts to think that the world he lives should be a place where people are allowed to make their own choices.
Exposition

Huh? Who is there?
Knock
Knock
Knock

He isn't sure on what to do next. But Montag hears three knocks on the door...

Hey guys, let's stick together?
NO!

LET'S KILL!!

After a few weeks on the island, the other boys didn’t listen. They played all day, ignored the rules, and some even started to fight. But Ralph kept trying to be a good leader.
The boys started acting wild and mean, and things on the island got really hard. Ralph didn't know what to do next.

Conflict
Konvertera

I am the one who brought you here. This place is called Konvertera.

Looking from far away, Montag and Caesar were brought together by the mysterious figure. They were in a magical land called Konvertera. Konvertera was a special place where people could learn, grow, and become better.
Conflict

Good Luck!

Ralph walks over to the group. The mysterious man talks to the three. Each of them has something important to learn. If they don’t face their problems, their worlds will fall apart.
The mysterious man said, "You were brought here to grow and change. Each of you has a problem, and if you don’t change, your worlds will fall apart. But remember that you can’t stay here forever."
Conflict

I am Julius Caesar.
I am Montag.
I am Ralph.

The mysterious wizard then disappeared in a flash! The three new friends looked around, still confused. Everything felt like a dream. They decided to introduce themselves.
Rising Action 1

I will go to the village.
I will go to the field of flowers
I will go to the forest

Rising Action 1
The three of them slowly become friends as they look around the new land. But when it was time for their plan, things got tricky. Near the lake, there was a village. On one side was a big, green forest, and on the other side was a field full of colorful flowers.
Montag wanted to go see the flowers. Ralph wanted to explore the forest. And Caesar was curious about the village. They couldn’t agree, so they decided to split up and go their own ways for now.

You are troubled, Montag.

As Montag walked through the field of flowers, the flowers blowing in the wind reminded him of Clarisse, the girl who asked him about life. He felt a little sad.
Then, Montag sees a monk sitting in the grass. The monk looks at Montag and could tell he was feeling troubled. The monk was a Buddhist and practices meditation.
Rising Action 1

I will teach you.

The monk could feel how sad Montag is and helps Montag by teaching him about the Noble Eightfold Path. It is a guide in Buddhism that helps people live good lives. One part of the path is Right Effort, which means always trying to do the right thing, stopping bad thoughts, and replacing them with good ones like kindness and honesty ("The Noble").
Montag starts to think that he could learn the path of Right Effort. He clears his head and starts to meditate with the monk.
Rising Action 1

He starts to get rid of all the negative thoughts in his head and Montag becomes more peace at mind. He had a plan after learning one of the path of the Noble Eightfold.
Rising Action 1

I will teach you Wu Wei.
Rising Action 2
In the quiet forest, Ralph meets an old man who teaches him about wu wei, an important idea in Taoism. Wu wei means going with the flow and not trying to force things to happen. It teaches people to stay calm, act gently, and let life unfold naturally (Pregadio).

Water is soft. Water is strong. Water moves around rocks.

Rising Action 2
The old man also tells Ralph that Taoists believe people should live like water because water is soft, but strong. Water doesn’t fight against the rocks in a river, it moves around them. In the same way, people can solve problems by being peaceful and patient instead of trying to control everything (Reninger).

Thank you!
Rising Action 2
Ralph starts to learn a lot from old man and the teachings of Taoism. He begins to change and learned not to force things and has a plan when he gets back to his world.

Rising Action 3
Caesar finds himself in the village. He sees all these new different buildings and things he never seen before. The way the people dressed were different. He sees a interesting building from the rest. It was a church and Caesar decides to go in.

Who is that?
That is Jesus.
Caesar thought the church was beautiful inside. There was a picture of a man on a cross. A man tells Caesar that the man is Jesus.
He was a teacher who spent his life helping others. Jesus cared for the poor, healed the sick, and taught people to love one another. Christianity teaches that one of the most important things a person can do is be kind to others ("What Was").
