The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous and recognizable landmarks in the world, located in Paris, the capital of France. Built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the World’s Fair, it was originally criticized for its unusual iron design but has since become a powerful symbol of French art, culture, and engineering. Standing 324 meters tall, the tower was once the tallest structure in the world and remains a highlight of the Paris skyline. Visitors can enjoy stunning views from its three observation decks, dine in its restaurants, or simply admire its elegant structure from below. At night, the Eiffel Tower becomes even more magical, sparkling every hour with thousands of twinkling lights that light up the Parisian sky and create unforgettable memories for those who see it.
The Great Wall of China is one of the most impressive structures ever built. It stretches over 13,000 miles across northern China, from the east coast to the desert in the west. The wall was built more than 2,000 years ago to protect Chinese kingdoms from enemy attacks, especially from nomadic tribes like the Mongols.
Different parts of the wall were built at different times, mainly during the Qin, Han, and Ming dynasties. It was made using stone, bricks, wood, and even packed earth in some areas. Watchtowers were added along the wall to help soldiers keep a lookout.
Today, the Great Wall is a symbol of Chinese strength, history, and culture. Millions of people visit each year to walk along its steep paths and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and countryside.
Machu Picchu is an ancient Incan city located high in the Andes Mountains of Peru, about 2,400 meters above sea level. It was built in the 15th century by the Inca emperor Pachacuti and is believed to have been a royal estate or sacred religious site. The city is famous for its well-preserved stone buildings, agricultural terraces, and stunning mountain views. Hidden from the outside world for centuries, Machu Picchu was rediscovered in 1911 by explorer Hiram Bingham. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
