I'd like to dedicate this book to all of the wonderful preschool students who have made Early Childhood Education such an amazing experience.
Happy Learning!

Once there was a hummingbird named Harper. She was a kind bird, always giving a helping wing to her friends in need. Passing out seeds was her favorite thing to do. These seeds then turned into fragrant flowers, spreading kindness and positivity around town.

Harper was taking her morning fly when she discovers Doug the Dog looking worried.
"Good morning Doug!" Harper chirps merrily.

"Harper, please help!" Doug cries
"My favorite ball is stuck in that tall tree and I can't reach it. Can you help me?"

"I've got it!" Harper says while soaring in the sky while dropping a seed out of her beak.

"Thank you Harper! This is my favorite ball. How can I ever repay you?" Doug asks.

"Don't worry about it," Harper tweets. "See you around, Doug!"
Just then, the seed that Harper had dropped out of her beak turned into a golden sunflower.

"Oh no!" A yell is heard from a distance.
Harper was looking for a bite to eat until-
What happened?" Harper wonders. "I better go check it out."

"Hi Harper," Buttercup the Cow sighs. "I just spilled my barrel of apples and it's going to take forever to pick them all back up."

"That's terrible, let me give you a helping hand" Harper chirps.

One by one, Buttercup and Harper pick up the juicy apples and place them back into the wooden barrel.

"Thank you so much Harper," Buttercup exclaims. "I wouldn't have done it without you."
"Any time, Buttercup" Harper chirps happily. "See you around!"

After Harper had flown away, the seed that she left on the dirt transforms into a handful of fragrant lavender.

"I need to find some way to show my appreciation to Harper," Buttercup thinks.
On the way back to her nest, Harper spots her friend Susie the Sheep. Susie, looking lost, calls to Harper

"Harper! It's so good to see you. I have wandered far discovering new types of plants and seemed to have lost my way back to the barn. Can you help me get back home?" Susie asks.
Sure! I'll help you get back home," Harper tweets as she expands her wings.

Harper soars high into the sky, and spots a familiar red barn in the distance.

"I see Susie's home!" I better go tell her I found it," Harper chirps.

"I found the barn!" Harper tweets. "Let's finally take you home."

"Thank you again for bringing me back home," Susie says gratefully. "Without your help, it would've taken me forever to get back here."

"Of Course, Susie. Goodbye!" Harper says as she flutters her wings.
