To Chris,
May your life with Amanda be filled with love, laughter, and many Eagles Superbowls.
From Rockledge to Lehigh to Arizona, you proved that anything is possible with heart, hustle, and a slightly unhinged group of friends.
With love,
The Rockheads

In the legendary town of Rockledge, Pennsylvania, lived a man named Chris—lover of sports, snacks, and a good daytime tv show. #SFW

One fateful afternoon while scrolling through his phone, he saw the most beautiful girl that he had ever laid eyes on: Amanda Molitor. She was tall, blonde, smart, and beautiful inside and out.
He fell in love.

But disaster loomed in the form of Lafayette Thrustworthy III - Chris’s arch-nemesis. Lafayette was tall, tanned, and muscular. He wore sunglasses indoors.
And worst of all...Amanda was training with him for a Hyrox competition.

Chris panicked. Then he decided.
He would sign up for the Hyrox.
He would train. He would compete. He would win Amanda’s heart.
Just as he said this aloud, his friend Bob walked in and choked on his pretzel stick.
"You?! Compete? You could never beat Lafayette Thrustworthy III!"
"Not yet," Chris said. "Time to get to work."

Chris called an emergency meeting at the Fort—a lopsided shed in Frankie’s backyard with a tarp as a roof. The whole gang arrived: Austin, Bob, Bug, Dom, Frankie, Jim, Kev, Nick, Scott, and Tom.
Chris explained his mission. Jim handed him a Wawa hoagie. "You’ll need carbs."

Kev controlled the soundtrack. Every morning began with Eye of the Tiger and Gonna Fly Now from the Rocky soundtrack. After that it quickly turned into Meek Mill and other Phill hood rap.

Training began the next day. Austin made official TB t-shirts for Try your Best!
Tom dove deep into the dark web to find Lafayette's weaknesses.
Scott led speed bag, heavy bag, and jump rope workouts from his boxing days.
Frankie introduced his mystery "pre-pre-workout." It fizzed, smoked, and might have contained rocket fuel.

Bob built a rowing machine from old bike parts he found in his garage.
Dom showed up in a baby blue shirt that said “REP IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT.”
Bug lent Chris his Bugman basketball shoes for speed work.
Nick ran beside Chris, “Need to be faster than that if you want to beat Lafayette!”

I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12.
Jesus, does anyone?
