Marcy's mom would ask her about her day every day when she got home. Today, Marcy told her mom about how Sarah Adams got special treatment by the teachers, she was given a computer to write her test while the other kids had to write with a pencil and paper. "It was so unfair!" Marcy told her mom.
"You know, some people experience challenges that we don't always understand. Maybe you should take a walk and see how you feel after." Her mom replied.

As Marcy began her walk, she ran into a squirrel. "Hi! I'm Squall" The squirrel said.
"Do you face challenges?" Asked Marcy.
"I do, the other animals only see that I'm very small, but that's not all I am. They usually ignore me, and it really upsets me. They don't include me in their conversations because they're so much taller than me, they say it's hard to hear me with all the space between us. I wish was taller. It would make fitting in so much easier!"
"Wow, I never would have imagined that." Marcy said.
"Most people don't if they haven't experience it." Replied Squall.
"Who knew?" And she continued on.

"Hello there, I'm Sleem." Said a voice from the trees. Marcy looked up to find a sloth above her.
"Do you face challenges?" She asked.
"Well, sure! I'm always being left behind. Being a sloth, no one realizes that I can't help being slow! I try to go as fast as I can to keep up with the other animals, but they always end up going on without me. They don't want to wait, and they just blame it on me being slow. I would do anything to be able to be fast."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Marcy said.
"Hey, you get used to being alone up here." Sleem responded.
"Who knew?"

Marcy continued through the forest before noticing a giraffe. "Hello?" She called through the trees.
"Hi! I'm Giovanni!" The giraffe exclaimed.
"Hi Giovanni, do you face challenges?" She asked.
"Here and there, I'm so tall and nothing is built with animals of my height in mind. Like a school bus! I'm always bumping my head on the ceiling, it hurts. Then when I try to make sure I don't hit my head, my neck starts to hurt from being bent too much."
"That sounds painful." Marcy commented.
"It is, my doctor doesn't know how to help me."
"Who knew?"
