Bir zamanlar küçük bir kasabada, teknolojiye çok meraklı bir çocuk yaşarmış. Adı Mavi’ymiş. Mavi, araştırmayı, öğrenmeyi ve arkadaşlarıyla oyunlar oynamayı çok severmiş. En çok da internete girdiğinde dünyanın dört bir yanındaki bilgilere ulaşabilmeye bayılırmış.

Bir gün Mavi, okuldan döndükten sonra tabletini açmış ve yeni bir oyun indirmiş. Oyunu oynarken birden ekrana şu mesaj gelmiş:

“Kazandınız! Hemen tıklayın, ödül sizin!”

Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a child who was very interested in technology. Her name was Mavi. Mavi loved to explore, learn, and play games with her friends. What she loved most was being able to access information from all around the world through the internet.

One day, after coming home from school, Mavi opened her tablet and downloaded a new game. While playing, a message suddenly popped up on the screen:

"Congratulations! Click now to claim your prize!"

Congratulations! Click now, the prize is yours!"

Mavi ,önce büyük bir heyecanla ekrana bakmış, gerçekten bir ödül kazandığını sanmış. Ancak o anda, bilişim teknolojileri dersinde öğretmeninin internet ortamındaki tuzaklar ve dolandırıcılıklar hakkında anlattığı uyarılar bir bir gözünün önüne gelmiş. “Gerçek ödüller böyle kolay kazanılmaz, hele ki tanımadığın bir bağlantıya tıklamak tehlikeli olabilir,” diye içinden geçirerek eli linke gitse de bir an duraksamış. Bu şüpheli mesajın doğru olup olmadığından emin olamadığı için hemen annesine seslenmiş ve durumu detaylıca anlatmış, ertesi gün de okulda öğretmeniyle paylaşmış. Hem ailesi hem de öğretmeni, Mavi’nin bilinçli davranışını takdir ederek onun ne kadar dikkatli ve sorumluluk sahibi biri olduğunu söyleyip onu gururlandırmışlar.

Mavi ,first looked at the screen with great excitement, thinking that he had really won a prize. But at that moment, the warnings his teacher had given him in his IT class about the pitfalls and scams on the internet came back to him one by one. “Real prizes can't be won that easily, and clicking on a link you don't recognize can be dangerous,” he thought to himself as his hand went to the link, but hesitated for a moment. Unsure whether this suspicious message was true or not, she immediately called her mother and explained the situation in detail, and the next day she shared it with her teacher at school. Both her parents and her teacher appreciated Mavi's conscious behavior and made her proud, saying how careful and responsible she was.

Students:

Öğretmeni Mavi’yi tebrik ettikten sonra ona bir öneride bulundu:

“Mavi, sen bu konuda çok bilinçlisin. İstersen okulumuzun yeni açılacak olan ‘Dijital Güvenlik Kulübü’nün başkanı ol. Diğer arkadaşlarına da interneti güvenli kullanmayı öğretirsin.”

Mavi bu teklife bayıldı. Hemen çalışmalara başladı. Okulda afişler hazırladı, sunumlar yaptı, arkadaşlarına sahte sitelerle gerçekleri ayırt etmenin yollarını anlattı. Herkes onu dikkatle dinledi. Artık okulda dijital dünyaya karşı daha hazırlıklı bir grup çocuk vardı.

Bir akşam, Mavi tabletini eline alıp düşündü:
“İnternette güvende olmak da bir çocuk hakkı!”

Artık sadece kendi güvenliğini değil, tüm arkadaşlarının haklarını da önemsiyordu. Tam bu sırada tabletin ekranı aniden parladı. Parlak ışıkların içinden dijital bir kahraman belirdi. Zırhı kodlardan yapılmış, gözleri gibi ekranları da ışıldayan bu kahraman kendini tanıttı:

“Ben Korax. Dijital Hakları Koruma Ağı’nın lideriyim.”

Ve ekledi:
“Tebrikler Mavi! Artık sen bir Dijital Hak Savunucususun. Bilgin, cesaretin ve farkındalığınla dijital dünyada çocukların sesi olacaksın.”

Mavi gülümsedi. Çünkü artık sadece bir kulüp başkanı değil, dijital dünyada haklarını bilen ve koruyan bilinçli bir çocuktu.

After her teacher congratulated Mavi, she made a suggestion:

“Mavi, you’re very aware of these issues. If you’d like, you could become the president of our new ‘Digital Safety Club’. You could teach your friends how to use the internet safely.”

Mavi loved the idea. She immediately got to work. She created posters at school, gave presentations, and explained to her friends how to distinguish fake websites from real ones. Everyone listened to her carefully. Soon, there was a group of children at school who were much more prepared for the digital world.

One evening, Mavi picked up her tablet and thought:
“Being safe online is a child’s right too!”
She now cared not only about her own safety but also about the rights of all her friends. Just then, her tablet screen suddenly lit up. From the bright lights, a digital hero appeared. His armor was made of code, and his glowing eyes looked like screens. He introduced himself:

“I am Korax, leader of the Digital Rights Protection Network.”

Then he added:
“Congratulations, Mavi! You are now a Digital Rights Defender. With your knowledge, courage, and awareness, you will be the voice of children in the digital world.”

Mavi smiled. Because now, she wasn’t just a club president—she was a conscious child who knew and protected her rights in the digital world.

ORDU CUMHURİYET PRIMARY SCHOOL-TURKEY

Students:Defne,Ozan,Can, Rüzgar, Deniz,Emir,Doruk

Ertesi sabah Mavi, olanları kimseye anlatamamıştı. Korax gerçek miydi, yoksa sadece hayal gücünün bir ürünü müydü? Ama ne olursa olsun, hissettikleri gerçekti. Artık kendini sadece okulda değil, internette de bir sorumluluk taşıyan biri gibi hissediyordu.

O gün okulda kulüp toplantısı vardı. Mavi, arkadaşlarına çocukların dijital haklarını anlattı:

*Kişisel verilerin gizliliği

*Bilgilenme ve ifade özgürlüğü

*Güvenli ve zararsız içeriklere erişim hakkı

*Siber zorbalıktan korunma

Herkes bu konuları daha önce duymuş olsa da ilk kez bu kadar net bir şekilde anlamıştı. Mavi, basit örneklerle anlatıyordu:
"Birisi iznimiz olmadan fotoğrafımızı paylaştığında, bu hakkımızın ihlalidir. Ya da bir uygulama bizden yaşımıza uygun olmayan bilgiler isterse, bu da dijital ortamda haklarımızı ihlal eder."

Toplantının sonunda herkes heyecanlıydı. Yeni fikirler üretmeye başladılar:
“Bir animasyon yapalım!” dedi Eren.
“Dijital haklar el kitabı hazırlayabiliriz,” dedi Melis.
“Her sınıfta mini eğitimler düzenleyelim,” diye ekledi Arda.

The next morning, Mavi couldn’t tell anyone what had happened.
Was Korax real, or just a product of her imagination?
Either way, what she felt was real. She now felt responsible not just at school, but also in the digital world.

That day, there was a club meeting at school. Mavi talked to her friends about children's digital rights:
The right to privacy and protection of personal data
The right to access information and express themselves
The right to safe and appropriate content
The right to be protected from cyberbullying

Everyone had heard of these topics before, but it was the first time they truly understood them.
Mavi explained with simple examples:
“If someone shares our photo without permission, that’s a violation of our rights. Or if an app asks us for information not suitable for our age, that’s also a digital rights violation.”

By the end of the meeting, everyone was excited. New ideas started to emerge:
“Let’s make an animation!” said Eren.
“We could create a digital rights handbook,” said Melis.
“Let’s organize mini-training sessions in every classroom,” added Arda.

TED IZMIR PRIVATE PRIMARY SCHOOL-TURKEY

Students: Hazel Ada, Cansın, Ada, Beyza, Batuhan, Eitan, Begüm, Can, Rüzgar

Toplantının sonunda herkes heyecanla fikirler üretmişti. Mavi de mutluydu. Kulüp büyüyor, çocukların dijital hakları giderek daha çok kişi tarafından öğreniliyordu. Ama ertesi gün, sınıfta bir şey dikkatini çekti. Elif yoktu.

Genelde neşeli ve katılımcı olan Elif, iki gündür okula gelmiyordu. Mavi, teneffüste öğretmenine sorduğunda Elif’in hasta olmadığını, ama kendini iyi hissetmediğini öğrendi. İçine bir huzursuzluk çöktü.

O akşam Elif’e bir mesaj yazdı:
“Merak ettim seni, her şey yolunda mı?”

Uzun bir süre cevap gelmedi. Gece geç saatte telefonuna bir mesaj düştü:
“Her şey yolunda değil, Mavi. Biri sınıf grubunda hakkımda kötü şeyler yazdı, profil fotoğrafımı alıp dalga geçmişler. Çok utanıyorum, okula gelmek istemiyorum.”

Mavi mesajı okurken içi burkuldu. Elif’in duygularını anlayabiliyordu. Derin bir nefes aldı ve cevap yazdı:

“Üzülmeni çok iyi anlıyorum. Ama yalnız değilsin Elif. Bu yaptıkları dijital zorbalık ve buna karşı birlikte durabiliriz. Kulüp tam da bunun için var. Sana yardım etmek istiyorum.”

At the end of the meeting, everyone was excitedly coming up with ideas. Mavi was happy too. The club was growing, and more and more children were learning about their digital rights. But the next day, something caught her attention in class.

Elif wasn’t there.

Usually cheerful and engaged, Elif hadn’t come to school for two days. During recess, Mavi asked the teacher and learned that Elif wasn’t sick, but she wasn’t feeling well. A sense of unease settled over her.

That evening, Mavi sent a message to Elif:
“I was worried about you. Is everything okay?”

There was no reply for a long time. Late at night, a message finally popped up on her phone:
“Everything is not okay, Mavi. Someone wrote mean things about me in our class group and made fun of me by sharing my profile picture. I’m so embarrassed, I don’t want to come to school.”

Mavi felt her heart sink as she read the message. She could understand how Elif was feeling. She took a deep breath and replied:

“I totally understand why you’re upset. But you’re not alone, Elif. What they did is cyberbullying, and we can stand up to it together. That’s exactly what the club is for. I want to help you.”

ŞANLIURFA BİLGİ SECONDARY SCHOOL-TURKEY

Students:

Ertesi sabah, Mavi erkenden kalktı. Elif’in mesajı aklından çıkmıyordu. Kendini yalnız ve utanmış hisseden bir arkadaş için bir şeyler yapmalıydı. Kulüp sadece bilgi vermek için değil, böyle anlarda destek olmak içindi.

Okula gittiğinde, kulüp üyeleriyle buluştu. Sınıf grubundaki durumu anlattı, Elif’in ismini vermeden:
“Bir arkadaşımız, dijital zorbalığa uğradı. Profil fotoğrafı izinsiz alınmış, dalga geçilmiş. Bu sadece bir şaka değil, bu bir hak ihlali ve ciddi bir konu.”

Herkes sessizleşti. Mavi devam etti:
“Onu yalnız bırakmayacağız. Öncelikle ona destek olduğumuzu hissettirmeliyiz. Sonra da sınıf grubunda bu tür davranışlara sessiz kalmayacağımızı gösterecek bir açıklama yapabiliriz.”

Melis elini kaldırdı:
“İzin verirse onunla birlikte sınıfa dönebiliriz. İlk günü daha kolay geçer.”

Eren hemen ekledi:
“Ayrıca kulüp olarak bir kampanya başlatalım: ‘Dijitalde Saygı, Herkesin Hakkı!’”

Herkes bu fikirleri çok sevdi. Mavi, teneffüste Elif’e yeniden mesaj attı:

The next morning, Mavi woke up early. She couldn’t stop thinking about Elif’s message. She had to do something for a friend who felt alone and ashamed. The club wasn’t just for sharing information—it was for supporting each other in times like this.

When she got to school, she met with the other club members. She explained the situation in the class group without mentioning Elif’s name:

“One of our friends has been a victim of cyberbullying. Her profile photo was taken without permission and mocked. This isn’t just a joke—this is a violation of rights and it’s a serious matter.”

Everyone fell silent. Mavi continued:

“We won’t leave her alone. First, we need to make her feel that we’re here for her. Then, we can write a message in the class group to show that we won’t stay silent in the face of this kind of behavior.”

Melis raised her hand:

“If she agrees, we can walk into the classroom with her. That might make her first day back easier.”

Eren quickly added:

“Let’s also start a campaign as a club: ‘Respect Online Is Everyone’s Right!’”

Everyone loved these ideas. During recess, Mavi sent another message to Elif:

Bu kez cevap daha hızlı geldi:

Ertesi sabah, Mavi ve Melis Elif’in evine uğradılar. Elif kapıyı açtığında gözleri biraz şişmişti ama gülümsüyordu. Okula birlikte yürürlerken gerginliği yavaş yavaş azaldı.

O gün sınıfta küçük bir farkındalık etkinliği yapıldı. Mavi söz aldı ve konuştu:
“Dijital dünya bazen gerçek hayattaki davranışlarımızı unutturabiliyor. Ama ekranın ardında da bir kalp, bir insan var. Hepimiz bir gün böyle bir durumda olabiliriz. Saygı, sadece yüz yüze değil, ekranda da gerekir.”

Elif’in gözleri dolmuştu ama bu sefer mutlulukla. Artık yalnız olmadığını biliyordu.

O günden sonra kulüp, dijital hakları savunmanın ötesine geçti: empati, dayanışma ve cesaretin yuvası olmuştu. Çocuklar sadece haklarını değil, birbirlerini de korumayı öğrenmişlerdi.

Bir hafta geçmişti. Elif tekrar sınıfa dönmüştü, gülümsemesi de yavaş yavaş yerine geliyordu. Kulüp ise harıl harıl çalışıyordu. “Dijitalde Saygı, Herkesin Hakkı” kampanyası hızla yayılmıştı. Her sınıfa minik afişler asılmış, teneffüslerde dijital haklarla ilgili bilgilendirme kartları dağıtılmıştı. Mavi gururluydu. Ama geceleri hâlâ o gizemli karşılaşmayı düşünüyordu: Korax...
