This book follows a curious little robot named Raybot who was born in the heart of the Sun. He blasts off on an adventure through the solar system, flying past each planet and sharing fun facts along the way!
Perfect for young explorers who love space, science, and shiny robots.

Born in the Sun

Deep inside the blazing heart of the Sun, something bright began to shimmer.
From fire and light, a little robot was born—his name was Raybot.

He blinked his shiny eyes, stretched his metal arms, and zoomed into space.
“I’m ready to explore,” he said. “Time to meet the planets!”

Mercury: The Closest and Quickest

“This is Mercury,” Raybot said.
“It’s the closest planet to the Sun, and it zooms around it faster than any other.”

He flew low and noticed something strange.
“One side is boiling hot… but the other side is freezing cold!
That’s because Mercury has almost no air to spread the heat.”

Venus: The Hottest Planet

Thick yellow clouds swirled around the next planet.
“This is Venus,” said Raybot.
“It’s about the same size as Earth, but way too hot for anyone to visit.” He checked his sensors.

“The clouds are made of poisonous gas, and they trap heat like a giant oven. Even my circuits are sweating!”

“Ah, Earth!” said Raybot.
“The only planet we know with life.”
Earth: The Blue Jewel

He flew over mountains, deserts, and seas.
“Water, air, and just the right temperature. No wonder it’s so full of color!”
Raybot took a deep breath, even though he didn’t need to.
“Home sure smells nice.”
(try to make the background invisible)

Mars: The Red Planet

“This is Mars,” Raybot explained.
“It’s cold and dry, but it used to have rivers and lakes long ago.” He touched down softly. “The ground is covered in iron dust—it makes everything red!”

Hi.
Raybot spotted a tiny robot driving nearby.
“That’s a Mars rover! I’m not the only robot here.”

Jupiter: The Giant

Suddenly, Raybot felt very, very small.
“This is Jupiter—the biggest planet in the solar system!”
Storms swirled across its striped surface, including one shaped like a giant red eye.
“That storm is bigger than Earth!” Raybot gasped. “Jupiter is made of gas and has over 90 moons!”

Saturn: The One with Rings
Raybot zoomed through glittering rings around the next planet.

“Hello, Saturn!” he said. “Your rings are made of ice and rock, and they’re wide enough to fit several Earths!”
He twirled through the frozen loops. “Now this is what I call space skating!”
