Each “star” represents a goal and includes stories, designs, and art created with the students’ creativity.

With teamwork and imagination, the students developed solutions for a better and more sustainable world.

For me, the concept of poverty means that people's basic needs for shelter, health, nutrition and education are not met. I think that immigrants and disabled people suffer more from poverty in these  areas.

Zero Hunger aims to end hunger and ensure that everyone has access to healthy, sufficient food. It also promotes sustainable agriculture to increase food production and reduce waste. It is one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Maria's students

This means not only addressing food scarcity today but also strengthening food systems for future generations. It involves supporting small-scale farmers, improving agricultural techniques, and protecting natural resources. By focusing on education, innovation, and fairness in food distribution, Zero Hunger aims to create a world where no one goes to bed hungry and everyone has the nourishment they need to lead a healthy, productive life.

Health and well-being are important at every stage of life.

People around the world get sick for different reasons. When we get sick, we need medications, but not all people have access to medications.

You can do a change too simply by taking care of your hygiene and  reminding your friends to wash hands.

The Third Star represents the goal of good health and well-being for everyone, everywhere.

 It means more than just avoiding illness. It’s about having clean water, healthy food, access to doctors, and caring for our mental health too. This goal also focuses on protecting mothers and children, preventing disease, and making sure healthcare is available to all.
When people are healthy, they can go to school, work, help others, and enjoy life. Good health is the foundation of a strong, happy, and fair world.

Education is important, and many areas of the world lack access to free pre-primary, primary, and secondary education - not to mention affordable options for technical, vocational, and university studies. But it’s not enough for education to be accessible.

All citizens in the European Union have the right to high-quality and inclusive education, training and lifelong learning.

Quality education aims to ensure both personal and social development by ensuring the best potential. 

Questioning, productive and responsible growth is only possible with comprehensive education. 

At the same time, the participation of a people who look to the future with hope and equality in every education is ensured.

Gender Equality - Fifth Star

It is emphasized that all genders should have equal rights in society, with a particular focus on integrating women strongly into social life. The goal is to empower girls and women through positive discrimination, ensuring they become stronger. Women should take an active role in all areas of society.

Clean Water and Sanitation - Sixth Star

Clean Water and Sanitation aims to provide everyone with access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities. It focuses on improving water quality, reducing water scarcity, and ensuring hygiene for all. Access to clean water is essential for health, education, and economic development. Sustainable water management helps communities flourish and protects the environment for future generations.

This goal is about ensuring access to clean and affordable energy.

This is important for the development of agriculture, education, healthcare and transportation.

Clean energy like solar and wind power keeps the Earth safe. 

In the future, everyone will have easy access to clean energy in their cities. This will make life better for everyone.
