The Whispering Tree
There once was an ancient tree at the edge of a quite village. Its trunk was wide, its branches stretched like arms welcoming the sky, and its leaves shimmered like emeralds in the sun. Over the years, the tree became a trusted friend, its trunk carved gently with initials and little hearts. Long after the children had grown,

Mabel grew up in a small village where people often whispered behind her back. Her family thought she was too slow to understand things, and her classmates laughed when she struggled to read aloud or solve simple problems.
''Maybe she's not meant for school'' her aunty once said. Even her teachers gave up on her. But Mabel didn't give up on herself.
