This e-book is part of the “My Flag is Unique” E-Twinning project and is the result of a transnational group effort.

Maya loves libraries and reading. One day, while wandering around the library, she came across a secret door. The door had a sign that read, “Room of Magical Colored Flags.” Of course, she was very curious and opened the door. What did she see when she opened the door?

A library filled with colorful flags everywhere! 

Right in front of her was a book with the colors of the Türkiye flag—red and white—and a crescent moon and star. When she opened the book, she found herself in the middle of an adventure and didn't understand what was happening. 

Everything was red and white. It was as if he had entered another world. The book explained how Turkey's colors came to be and who the heroes were. On the shelves next to it were books from other countries. He couldn't wait to read them all.

Then something unexpected happened. The librarian came in through the door. He scolded Maya and kicked her out of the library. But Maya had to make a decision.

 She entered the library at night with a flashlight. She was about to enter the same room when she saw that the door was locked.

She remembered from an old movie that with a hair pin you can open doors. She tried using one found through her beautiful hair and with her big surprise she managed to open the door and get into the library. Once inside there was no time to waste to explore the beauty in front of her eyes.

A big book with green, white and red stripes caught her attention...She decided to take that one and find a quiet spot to read it in peace.

She carefully went out of the library making sure the door was locked again.

Maia bu muhteşem kitabı okumaktan kendini alamadı....

Lost track of time.

As all good things come to an end, this book came to an end.

Her eyes went to thr first book she saw.

Maya began to analyze the first book she discovered in detail. In this book, Maya learned about love, honesty, courage and not giving up. as she turned the pages, she learned about different and beautiful aspects of Turkey.
