Jadie was a polite and kind girl who always tried to do her best at school. She loved to smile and say “please” and “thank you” because she believed being polite made the world a better place. After school, Jadie asked Mia if she wanted to explore the park nearby. Mia nodded excitedly, and together they walked down the sunny path lined with tall trees and colorful flowers. The park was full of birds singing and kids playing. Jadie showed Mia her favorite spot — a little garden with bright red tulips and a wooden bench where she liked to read. As they sat down, Jadie said, “Friendship is like this garden. It needs care and kindness to grow.” Mia smiled and nodded, feeling happy to have a friend like Jadie. Jadie gently reached in and carefully freed the little kitten from the prickly twigs. Mia smiled wide and said, “We saved it!” The kitten purred softly and rubbed against their hands. Jadie said, “Helping others, even little animals, is part of being a good friend.” Together, they decided to take the kitten home and find a safe place for it. Their day had turned into a real adventure, and Mia felt lucky to have met someone as kind as Jadie.
