Princess
Princess Curry Duck lives in a majestic, golden castle in Masalaville.
She lives with her dad, King Saffron and her mom, Queen Cardamom.
Her mom and dad decided to have a family banquet to celebrate Princess Curry Duck's 7th Birthday!

For the celebration, Princess Curry Duck wore an extravagant gold and red dress adorned with shimmery sequins and glitter. Her mom and dad gifted her with a brand-new flashy, pink tiara.
The entire banquet hall was decorated with the Princess' favorite colors: red, pink and gold.
Her Grandma Naan and Grandpa Fenugreek came with presents in tow for their sweet, little jellaby. Also present, were her Aunty Cumin, Uncle Tandoori and their kids who all loved Princess Curry Duck so very dearly.

The Princess was thrilled to have her cousins Chutney, Laddoo, Paprika and Pholourie present. She was even more ecstatic that a photographer was invited to capture all the memorable moments.
The children had hours of fun at the party playing games like: Pin the tail on Mr. Curry Goat, Musical Masala and Pass the parcel of Kurma.
Everyone had a great ''Goolab-jamoon" time!

Finally, it was time for the sumptuous feast.
Princess Curry Duck was the star of the birthday celebrations, but the star of the feast was at the center of the banquet table: mouth-watering, spicy curried duck.
The curried duck was served with silky Paratha Roti (or "Buss Up Shut" as the "Trinis" call it) and there were delectable side dishes of Pumpkin infused with coconut milk and a hint of geera and Curried Chickpeas with Potato. This was generously served with sweet and spicy Mango Amchar.
Everyone devoured their food served on special banana leaves.

After eating, it was time for the birthday cake to be cut and shared.
Princess Curry Duck beamed with excitement as she stepped towards her three-tiered lemon and cardamom cake decorated with pink icing and featuring pink, red and gold flowers.
Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" as the now seven-year-old made a wish and cut her cake with her proud dad.

"Happy Birthday Princess Curry Duck"
"Come and eat till yuh belly buss!"
(In Trinidad & Tobago this phrase means come and eat until you are satisfied and then some more ;).
Why? Because the food is absolutely delicious!)
Enjoy!
