Chapter 1: Strange Books and Stranger Dreams
After the Final Challenge, things got weird.
(Yes—even weirder than a three-eyed math teacher.)
We were home… but not home.
My cereal changed flavors every bite.
My goldfish knew Morse code.
And every night, I dreamed of the same thing:
A giant library, deep underground, whispering my name.
It happened during lunch.
The school loudspeaker crackled to life and said:
“Tasha Bell, please report to the basement…
of your dreams.”
The cafeteria went silent. Even the spaghetti froze.
Chapter 2:The Return of the Team
Of course I didn’t go alone.
Finn, Nova, and Zeke were already waiting by the old janitor’s closet.
“We knew this would happen,” Nova said.
Finn had packed granola bars. Zeke had a slingshot and a banana.
“Let’s go,” I said.
And we opened the door.
Down the spiral stairs we went.
Deeper and deeper. Past the pipes. Past the dust.
Past a very annoyed goblin janitor watching cat videos.
And then—
A golden hallway opened before us.
At the end: a giant door covered in words that kept changing.
Chapter 3: The Library of Lost Futures
We stepped inside…
And found a library the size of a city.
Books floated. Shelves rearranged themselves.
A librarian with six arms and a jetpack hovered toward us.
“Welcome,” she said. “To the Library of Lost Futures.
Every possible future is stored here. Even the ones that never happen.”
The librarian handed us files.
Zeke opened his.
“Oh no,” he whispered. “In 87% of my futures... I marry a sandwich.”
Nova frowned. “In mine, I accidentally crash a space station.”
I opened mine.
One word stared back at me: “Missing.”
Chapter 4: Someone Is Erasing Futures
“There’s a problem,” the librarian said.
“Someone is stealing stories—your stories.”
“They're deleting your futures before they happen.”
“And if they erase all of you…”
She snapped her fingers.
The books around us turned to dust.
Suddenly, a shadow slithered between the shelves.
It had inky claws. A body like dripping darkness.
It turned toward us and grinned.
“I am the Ink-Eater,” it hissed.
“And I’m here to erase your next chapter.”

I packed my bag.
Snacks. A flashlight. A very sharp pencil.
“Let’s go,” I told the team.
Because someone was rewriting our futures…
And this time, it wasn’t us.
