There once was a little fish named Blue.
Ever since he was a guppy, Blue dreamed of one day touching the glowing lights he'd see shining when night fell over the ocean.
The other fish in his school called them stars. When Blue asked how he could find them, they laughed at him.
"You can't touch a star, silly Blue!" They cried out. "Fish can't go into the night sky!"
"Watch me," Blue replied, determined. "I'll be the first!"

?
Blue swam to a nearby coral reef to ask his teachers, a pair of seahorses who had knowledge of everything under the ocean, what they knew about stars.
"There's no way to reach those stars," the seahorses told Blue.
When he continued to ask, intent on finding an answer, the two relented and pointed their tails down. "There's a place in the ocean where it is always night. Maybe you'll find what you seek there."
Filled with joy, Blue thanked them and made to leave. As he swam away, his teachers called out to him, a grim expression on their face. "Be careful, little fish. There's a reason why creatures like us stay here where it's bright."

!
As he journeyed down, he was stopped by a curious hermit crab, who asked "Where are you going, little fish?"
"To find stars in the ocean!" Blue replied.
The hermit crab laughed. "Stars? In the ocean? Kid, you're better off learning to fly!"
"If I can't find them there, then maybe I will! If other creatures can learn to swim, why can't fish learn to fly?"
The hermit crab was stunned silent by this declaration. Since there seemed to be no reply, Blue continued on with even more resolve.

Right before he swam into a seemingly endless trench, an octopus caught Blue's attention with a wave of his tentacle. "I wouldn't go down there if I were you," the octopus warned.
"Why not?" Blue asked.
"Creatures of the deep lie in wait there. There's no guarantee you'll come back."
But the little fish, having come so close to his goal, refused to listen. Ignoring the octopus, Blue swam into the trench without hesitation.
