I love you!

Kia, the koala, stepped carefully into her new woodland classroom, her soft paws padding gently on the forest floor. Everything felt different from her old home.
A lush woodland filled with towering trees, sparkling creeks, and flowing rivers. The air smelled of fresh pine and wildflowers, and the ground was covered in moss, rocks, and native plants.
Here, there were no eucalyptus trees, no familiar scents of her homeland. Her fluffy ears twitched nervously as she looked around, feeling a little out of place in this new, unfamiliar environment.
Ms. Sky, the wise eagle teacher, noticed Kia immediately.
"Welcome, Kia!" she called warmly, her wings fluttering as she swooped down from her perch. "We’re so happy you’re here! Feel free to find a spot, and we’ll get started."
Kia smiled shyly, a little overwhelmed, and looked around the room. The space felt so big, and there wasn’t the familiar comfort of her eucalyptus tree to rest in.
But at the far corner of the room, she saw a mighty oak tree, its thick trunk rising high and its sturdy branches reaching toward the sky. Kia’s heart lifted, and she decided to move toward it.
Kia slowly made her way across the room, each step feeling more confident as she approached the oak tree.
It wasn’t the eucalyptus trees she missed, but it was a tree, something familiar to her.
She settled on the lowest branches and took in a deep breath of her woodland classroom.
Ms. Sky joined Kia in the oak tree to see if she had any questions before the day got started.
As Kia settled in, she noticed movement up in the oak’s branches. A small, friendly voice called down to her.
"Hello there! I’m Spinner, the spider!" A tiny spider waved one of her legs from a branch high above Kia.
Kia looked up, her ears twitching with surprise. "Hi, Spinner! I’m Kia," she said shyly. "I’m still figuring out this place. It’s all so new."
Spinner climbed down a bit, "I know exactly how you feel. I was new to this tree once, too! It took me a while to get used to the other animals, but everyone here is friendly."
Kia smiled, feeling a little more at ease. "It’s nice to meet you! I’m glad you’re here."
"I love to make my webs up high in the branches. There’s so much to see from up here!" Spinner said with excitement.
"You can join me up here anytime, Kia. I’ll show you all the best spots in the classroom."
Kia felt a warm sense of comfort. "I’d like that."
At lunch, Kia’s stomach rumbled, and she made her way to the food table, sniffing the unfamiliar scents. "Hi, Kia! What do you have there?" Mia the squirrel asked, bouncing up to her with a bright smile. Kia smiled back, feeling a little nervous. "I brought some fresh eucalyptus leaves, acacia leaves, melaleuca flowers, and sweet wattle fruit. I thought everyone might like them."
Oliver, the fox, looked at the eucalyptus leaves and raised an eyebrow. "Eucalyptus leaves? Aren’t they a little... dangerous for us?" he asked cautiously. Kia nodded, her ears drooping slightly. "You’re right, Oliver. Eucalyptus leaves are special to koalas, like me, but they’re not safe for other animals. I’ll keep those for myself, but I thought you might enjoy the acacia leaves, melaleuca flowers, and the wattle fruit!"
As the animals tried the wattle fruit, they smiled and commented on how sweet and juicy it was. Kia watched with a proud smile as everyone enjoyed her food.
