For every sea heart who's ever felt lost in the waves— like Starry in the swell, and Solace in the stillness. May kindness be your compass, friendship your raft, and healing ripple gently, like moonlight through kelp.
You're not the only creature in the deep. Some tides carry sorrow. Some carry snacks. May you find tide pools that reflect your glow, companions who listen, and laughter that twirls like a disco ball in a moonlit kelp forest.
To those rebuilding after the storm, you did it. You’re doing it. Grief might bend you, but it can’t unshine you.
This story swims beside you. Ripple by ripple. Glow by glow.

Upon a tranquil shore scattered with seashells and whispers of waves, a starfish named Starry basked in the golden sunlight, her five limbs stretched wide like open arms to the sky. Her shimmer was radiant—a swirl of coral and turquoise, dancing like stained glass under water. She was joyful, curious, nestled among tide pools that knew her name.
The Fallen Starfish's Feelings of Grief
But one day, a storm tore through the coast with the fury of forgotten grief. The winds roared like ancient pain, the waters rose and turned violent, tossing Starry far from her home. When the storm passed, silence returned—but Starry’s colors had dimmed. She lied in an unfamiliar bay, tangled in kelp and questions.
What do I do?
Why Me?!?!
NOOO!
Can this get any worse?

Wandering alone along the sea floor, she stumbled upon a turtle named Solace—aged, soft-eyed, and equally displaced. His shell bore scratches, each a silent story. He had been drifting for years, not just through oceans, but through memories
Hi, I'm Solace
Starry...
"I thought the current might bring me peace," he said, "but all it does is carry me farther from what I never healed." Starry blinked slowly. "Maybe we’re not meant to forget. Maybe we’re meant to find something new in the remembering." And so, the two set out together—not to escape their grief, but to explore it.

we’re not meant to forget & find something new
Current may bring peace but carries me further
Their path wound through forgotten shipwrecks and coral cathedrals, where jellyfish floated like lanterns. At each stop, they met creatures with their own burdens—a dolphin who had lost her pod, a hermit crab who refused to change his shell, a sea urchin hiding his softness beneath sharp spines.
