Alexis' new teacher Ms.Braveheart overheard her say these words to her mother.

Welcome to 3rd Grade :)
I'm glad you're here!
"Hi Alexis, I am so excited to have you in my class! I'm Ms.Braveheart, Since we have some time before school starts, can I tell you about a little girl just like you."
"Like Me?" Alexis said.
"Yes! She was starting at a new school--just like you, only difference is she was the first black student to go to an all-white school. She was so brave, she walked into that school building all by herself. And I think her story will help you out today, do you want to hear it?"
With hope in her eyes, Alexis starts walking to the teachers desk, "Yes, please!"
