Story 1: A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed

A Friend In Need is a Friend Indeed
Story. 1
The Value of True Friendship
Friendship is not about how many people you know, but how many stand by your side when life tests you. A true friend is like a candle in the darkness, a helping hand in trouble, and a voice of encouragement when the world goes silent.
The Story
In a quiet village surrounded by green fields, two inseparable friends lived: Ahmad and Bilal. They had grown up together, studied under the same teachers, and shared both laughter and dreams. Their bond was so strong that people often called them brothers.Ahmad was calm and thoughtful, always cautious in making decisions. Bilal, however, was energetic and playful, often careless but with a heart full of love. Despite their differences, both valued each other deeply.
One summer, they decided to visit a village fair across a dense forest. Villagers warned them:
“The forest is dangerous; wild animals, especially bears, wander there. Be careful!”
Bilal laughed and replied, “Don’t worry! We are together. Nothing can harm us.”
The two packed food and water and set out on their journey. As they entered the forest, the path grew darker and the air heavier. Strange sounds of rustling leaves and distant growls filled the silence. Suddenly, a massive bear appeared, blocking their way.
Terrified, Bilal instantly climbed up a tall tree to save himself, without even thinking of Ahmad. Ahmad, left behind, could not climb. But he remembered his father’s words:
“Bears do not attack dead bodies. If you face one, lie still.”
So Ahmad lay flat on the ground, breathless, pretending to be dead. The bear approached, sniffed his head, and even brushed its wet nose against his ear. Ahmad’s heart raced, but he stayed still. Finally, the bear lost interest and wandered away.
When Bilal came down, he nervously joked,
“So Ahmad, what did the bear whisper in your ear?”
Ahmad calmly replied,
“The bear told me never to trust a friend who leaves me in time of need.”
Bilal was filled with shame. He realized how selfish he had been. From that day onward, he promised never to abandon Ahmad again, and their friendship grew stronger with trust and loyalty.
Life Tips:
Test of Friendship → True friends reveal themselves in hard times, not in moments of fun.
Be Loyal → Never abandon someone who trusts you; loyalty is the foundation of friendship.
Calmness Saves → Keeping calm in danger, like Ahmad, can save your life.
Learn from Mistakes → Bilal’s mistake became his life’s most valuable lesson.
Value the Few → Don’t count your friends by number, but by how many are there when you fall.
The End.

Honesty is the Best Policy
Story.2

Honesty is like the sun — even if clouds cover it for a while, it always shines again. Lies may work for a short time, but truth builds trust, peace, and respect.
Long ago, in a small town, there lived a poor boy named Salman. His father had passed away, and he helped his mother by selling milk in the market. Salman was honest and hardworking. Unlike others, he never mixed water in the milk, even though he could earn more money that way. One morning, while on his way to the market, Salman saw an old man struggling to carry heavy bags. Without thinking twice, Salman stopped his cart and helped the man. The old man was grateful and asked about Salman’s life.
Salman told him honestly that he sold pure milk, even though others cheated customers.
The old man smiled and bought some milk. When he tasted it, he realized it was the purest he had ever drunk. He said, “Young boy, you will go far in life because you value honesty.” Days passed, and one evening, the town announced that the King’s palace needed a new milk supplier. Many merchants applied. They brought samples of their milk, but most had mixed water in it to earn more profit. Only Salman’s milk was pure.
The King himself tasted all the samples and was shocked by the difference. Salman’s milk was fresh, pure, and natural. The King immediately chose him as the royal supplier.
Salman’s life changed. His honesty brought him wealth, respect, and blessings. People admired him, and he became known as “the honest milkman.” He realized that lies may give small profit, but honesty brings lifelong success.
Honesty → Honesty builds trust and respect, while lies destroy both.
Shortcut → Shortcuts may give temporary gain, but truth ensures lasting success.
Integrity → Integrity is the greatest wealth a person can have.
Conscience → A clear conscience brings peace of mind.
Always stand for truth, even if it seems difficult.
Where There is a Will, There is a Way
Story. 3

Life is often compared to a long journey across mountains and valleys, filled with challenges, obstacles, and opportunities. Some people stumble and fall, while others continue to rise despite the weight of difficulties. The difference is not always talent, wealth, or luck—it is willpower. Those who possess the determination to keep moving forward always find a way, no matter how difficult the path may be.
This story revolves around a young man named Ayaan, who grew up in a small village surrounded by poverty. His father was a farmer, struggling each season to feed his family, and his mother worked tirelessly at home. From childhood, Ayaan dreamed of becoming an engineer and building bridges and machines that could change lives. But in a place where even education was a luxury, his dream seemed impossible to many.
Ayaan’s school was several kilometers away from his house. Every morning, he would walk barefoot on rough, dusty roads. Often, he had no books of his own, so he would borrow old ones from seniors or sit beside classmates to copy notes. Teachers recognized his intelligence, but they also knew his circumstances. Many times, they wondered if he could ever complete his education. But Ayaan had one belief carved deep into his heart: “If I want it badly enough, I will find a way.” This proverb, become guiding principal of his life.
During harvest seasons, when his father needed help in the fields, Ayaan would wake up at dawn, work until noon, and then rush to school, tired yet determined. At night, when the rest of the family slept, he studied under the weak light of a kerosene lamp. His friends would often laugh at him, saying, “Why work so hard? People like us don’t become engineers. Accept reality.” But Ayaan refused to believe that poverty defined his destiny.
One day, while sitting under a tree after school, Ayaan met an elderly man named Professor Kareem, who had once taught at a university in the city but had retired to the village for peace. Seeing Ayaan reading an old torn book, the professor asked him, “Why are you struggling with such an old copy? Don’t you have proper books?”
Ayaan smiled and said, “Sir, I may not have new books, but I have a new dream every day. My dream is to become an engineer.”
The professor was moved by his words. He decided to mentor Ayaan, offering him books, guidance, and encouragement. With this support, Ayaan’s knowledge expanded rapidly. He learned not only mathematics and science but also the importance of patience and discipline.
After completing high school with top marks, Ayaan wanted to apply for an engineering university in the city. However, the entrance exam fee alone was a burden for his family. His father sighed, “Son, we can barely afford food; how can we afford this?”
At that moment, Ayaan had two choices: give up his dream or find another way.
He chose the latter. He began tutoring younger children in his village, charging only small fee, but saving every coin. Months passed, finally, he collected enough money to register for the exam.
Traveling to the city was another challenge. It was his first time leaving the village, carrying only a bag of clothes and the hopes of his family.
The city overwhelmed him—tall buildings, fast traffic, and competition everywhere. But he remembered his mother’s words before leaving: “Where there is a will, there is a way. Never forget this.”
The entrance exam was tough. Thousands of students competed for limited seats. Many came from wealthy families with the best schools and coaching centers. Ayaan had only his self-study and determination. He prayed, gave his best, and returned to the village waiting for results.Weeks later, a letter arrived. His hands trembled as he opened it. Tears filled his eyes—he had not only passed but also secured a scholarship for his studies. His dream was finally within reach.
In university, life was still not easy. He often worked part-time jobs—cleaning tables in a restaurant, delivering newspapers in the morning, and helping in a library at night. His classmates sometimes mocked him for wearing old clothes or not having expensive gadgets. But Ayaan never lost focus. He believed that true dignity lay not in appearance but in persistence. Years later, after endless struggles, Ayaan graduated with honors in engineering. His hard work opened doors to opportunities abroad.
He was soon employed in a company where his ideas brought innovative solutions. He built bridges in rural areas, designed affordable machines for farmers, and even returned to his village to construct a proper school for children.
Ayaan’s journey proves the timeless proverb: “Where there is a will, there is a way.” No mountain is too high, no river too wide, and no struggle too heavy for those who carry the fire of determination within their hearts.

Actions Speak Louder than Words

Story. 4
The Story
In every society, people often make promises, declarations, and speeches. Yet, the true measure of a person is not found in their words, but in their deeds. Words may inspire temporarily, but actions create lasting impact. This is the essence of the proverb: “Actions Speak Louder than Words.”
This story follows a young man named Bilal, whose life shows how deeds define character far more than speeches or claims.
Bilal grew up in a small town where many leaders often came and went. They promised new roads, better schools, and improved lives, but most of these promises remained unfulfilled. Over time, the townspeople grew weary of fine speeches. They longed for someone who could do instead of just say. Bilal, the son of a humble carpenter, watched this pattern from childhood. His father often reminded him, “Son, don’t be impressed by big talk. A person’s worth is measured by what they do for others, not what they claim.
