Hi, my name is Ranger Brian. When I was growing up. My dad would take me fishing, and I would see cool animals like gators, snakes, birds, to insects. One day, my parents took me to Jean Laffite park, where I saw all kind of animals. There were park rangers i said i would like to do that and I've signed up as a volunteer i loved it got to see alot of animals and stuff i grew up with a learning disability i was a slow learner. but im not going to let that stop me so follow on my journey

In the woods, if you are quiet, you can see

a possum, a raccoon & armadillo, unique animals

Why are they unique ill tell you just put your ears on and ill tell you

Opossums are found around the world. They live all over. Opossums are misunderstood. They are not bad animals. They have a lot of great abilities. You might think of the nasty animals, but they help with the environment they eat mice and rats they eat insects they do not have rabies so dont hurt them you can learn from them.

Raccoons are medium-sized mammals that are native to North America. They are known for their ring tail and black face around their eyes. Raccoons are omnivores that eat nuts to small animals with their claws they can be mischievous little critters

The Armadillos are a unique group of mammals recognized for their armor-like shell. They are from South America, using strong claws for digging, they also have a great sense of smell, and there armor protects them from predators

Foxes are among the most intelligent animals in the animal kingdom. They hunt small animals such as rats  and rabbits

The American Alligator is a large semi-aquatic carnivorous reptile with four legs and a huge tail. It helps them propel through the water. The first alligator was spotted a million years ago 

American black bear. There are more North American black bears than other bears. Black bears are extremely intelligent They are adventurous, they like digging thru trash and stuff. They only get mean if threating or around the cubs
