World war I
World War I, also called the “Great War,” happened from 1914 to 1918. It began after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, which set off a chain of events that pulled many countries into war. Two sides formed: the Central Powers, which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire, and the Allies, which included Britain, France, Russia, and later the United States. Soldiers fought mostly in trenches, where life was very hard and dangerous. New weapons like tanks, airplanes, and poison gas made the war especially deadly. After four years of fighting, the Allies won, and peace was signed in 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles. The war caused millions of deaths.

World war II
World War II happened from 1939 to 1945 and involved many countries around the world. It started when Germany, led by a man named Hitler, tried to take over other countries. Two big teams formed: the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy, and Japan, and the Allies, including the United States, Britain, and the Soviet Union. People fought in Europe, Africa, and the Pacific, and life was very hard for both soldiers and families at home. Important events included the Battle of Britain, the attack on Pearl Harbor, and the D-Day landings in France. After many years, the Allies won, and the war ended. Even though the war was very sad, countries promised to work together for peace and to make the world a safer place.

Ancient Egypt
Ancient Egypt was a fascinating civilization that existed thousands of years ago along the Nile River. People built huge pyramids and temples, created beautiful art, and wrote using pictures called hieroglyphs. Pharaohs, who were kings and queens, ruled the land and were believed to be very powerful. Egyptians also studied the stars, made medicine, and invented many tools that helped them live better lives. Life in Egypt was full of farming, trading, and celebrations, and their amazing achievements are still remembered and admired today.

Titanic
The Titanic was a giant passenger ship that set sail in April 1912 and was called “unsinkable” because people believed nothing could sink it. It carried more than 2,000 passengers and crew on its first trip from England to New York. But on the night of April 14, the Titanic hit a huge iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean. The ship began to sink, and sadly, there were not enough lifeboats for everyone. More than 1,500 people lost their lives, while about 700 were rescued. Some say that the captain of the Titanic ship mocked God that's why that happened
