The Author: He wrote the entire story! He was Power, the soldier ant. ⚔

    When it was time to fight, all the ants were nervous. "Come on, you guys can do this! Don't worry!" said the queen ant. When the war started, we saw many injured ants on the floor everywhere. They were all scared. Who will win? Soldier after soldier went into the fight. Dead bodies were everywhere. Our hearts were pounding hard.

    It was sunny in the ant colony, and everyone worked hard. Iris, the queen ant, was always relaxed, caring, strong, and big. Power, the soldier ant, was strong but not very outgoing. He was always stressed and nervous. SuSu, the worker ant, was strong, short, happy, caring, anxious, and friendly. Iris said, "Can I get some food? The eggs have no more nutrients.’’  SuSu replied, "I'll check. Oh no, we're out of food! I will go find some, but I'm scared!" 

    Today, the worker ant, SuSu, found out that the colony was all out of food. So she decided that she would venture out to find a tasty meal to bring back. She did not tell the soldier ant, Power, about it.

    Power saw SuSu walking to the door and then told her that he would send some soldiers to help. "You don’t have to worry. You're going to be okay." After the worker ant left, Power went inside and told Queen Iris that SuSu left.

    Meanwhile, the colony was starving. Some ants starved, but Power, Iris, SuSu, and many worker ants survived. They ate their comrades just to fill up for another day and went to sleep.

    SuSu and her team continued trying to find food, and after searching for a while, she finally found a watermelon! But another colony nearby was also planning to eat it. A small fight broke out as both sides wanted the food. SuSu quickly told a worker ant to return to ask Power for help.

    The worker ant rushed back and told Power about the situation. Power looked at the map and found a shortcut to get there faster. He gathered some soldier ants and quickly made his way to SuSu.

    When they arrived, they set up traps near the other colony’s nest to weaken their enemies. Feeling prepared, they slept, knowing that tomorrow would be an important day." It will be a big day tomorrow,"  Power thought.
