Raven and Bella stood outside Mythical Elementary, the place where they had volunteered to teach students magic.  Ever since their last adventure, the whole group had been a little shaken and unsure of what to do next. They had decided to postpone their adventure until they had settled down.

Scarlett suddenly ran over to Raven and Bella. 

" Hey guys!" she said cheerfully. Since Scarlett was typically never this excited and happy, Raven and Bella gave her suspicious and questioning looks. Scarlett blushed and smiled. 

" Fine....I'll spill...." she groaned. Scarlett explained that she had found a letter on her doorstep, asking the fairies to complete their quest.

Scarlett was super happy. She couldn't wait to continue the quest. 

YEAH!

I don't want to continue the quest!

You guys! The quest is very important! If WE don't complete it, who will?

Scarlett was VERY upset. She said " I can complete the quest on my own, I guess" and trudged away with the biggest frown there ever was on her face. Raven and Bella looked at each other with knowing expressions. They both nodded, reading each other's minds before either could say a word. Then the duo ran off, chasing Scarlett's trail of fire.

Suddenly, their wings dissolved into thin air! They gasped and found Scarlett looking scared as well. She had  lost her wings, too! They all screamed and then took deep breaths. If they had completed a whole quest without wings, there was no reason to worry. Suddenly, Scarlet started to run away again....

Well that was kind of cheesy...

As Raven and Bella ran after Scarlett, they started to see splotches of darkness appear around them. Slowly, the darkness caked the picturesque scene of flowers and morning dew with skulls and bats. Soon, they had dissipated and then reappeared in a stone castle.

Stop! 

Do you two have confirmation of your age?

Let's get out of here! C'mon, Raven!

sigh..and I could have been a lawyer...

yawn..time to close up for the day...

oh no...

I dropped the key!

Chapter 2: Sunny's Birthday Party

It didn't occur to the fairies of Ladybug Lane that it was Sunny's birthday until her party. And only then did Sunny feel truly happy. Ever since that fatal day when the fairies decided to continue the quest, Sunny had been shaming herself for every mistake she made. She felt it was the only way to make sure the quest could be completed.

Scarlett was sad and gloomy during the celebration, and tried (but failed) to explode Sunny's chocolate cake. She was upset because nobody wanted to finish the quest.

Raven had a great time at the party, and so did all the other fairies. But they did not see that one party guest had snuck away from all the commotion. It was the same sprite who was guarding the stone castle and had dropped her key..

I need to find that key!!

Hello? Is someone in there?

UH-OH!!

I think I'd better go...

I guess I'd better go, too...

The sad sprite headed home. She didn't care about Sunny's party. She just wanted to find the key.

As the sprite walked, she thought about what would happen to her if the Queen of the Sapphire City found out she had lost the key.  

I have no idea what my purpose is. I feel like these people just hired me because I'm not afraid to yell. They don't see me for my true value.

Chapter 3: The walls with eyes

Scarlett, Raven, and Bella were given a letter from an anonymous fairy. It said to visit the Sapphire Castle and find the eyewalls. Raven and Bella thought it was a mistake. But Scarlett had heard of these eyewalls before...

Are you sure this is where we're supposed to go?

Oh..well..um..no. 

Guys??? AAAAAHHHHH!!!

Gasp! Raven! Bella! Hello? 

Where am I?!

Ahhh!! What is that?!!! 

OH! You're one of the eyewalls! Hahaha!

hah!  you're funny.

or...not...

OK...guys? This isn't funny! You disappear in a big plume of smoke? C'mon! It's the oldest trick in the book!

Meanwhile....

Hey, guys? Where are you? I'm all alone in a DUNGEON!! Please help me!

HELP!! PLEASE!!

What is that?!

The mummy slowly sauntered towards Raven. He placed a hand on Raven's wrist and started to pull her into darkness. She kicked and squealed, trying to break free of the mummy's grip. But she couldn't.

Augh! TREVOR! What did we say about scaring innocent fairies? Get back to your post! 

I'm sorry about that. We're just very... edgy. We don't want to lose our precious sapphire!

Um..your " mummy" almost killed me! And why the heck am I here?!

It isn't MINE! He's supposed to scare away THIEVES.

Sorry...I guess it's not your fault. Can you please help me out of here?

Chapter 4: A new friend

The mysterious sprite agreed, and the two happily walked off, working their way through the mazes until they were free from the dungeon. But then Raven realized that her friends could be absolutely anywhere.

The mysterious sprite looked up at the sky and snapped her fingers. Down came Scarlett and Bella. They were like torpedoes, but they were going the wrong way. 

" SOMEBODY CATCH THEM!" Raven yelled. The mysterious sprite giggled and snapped her fingers again. Scarlett and Bella were saved by a net that had just appeared.

Raven smiled at the pixie and gave her a big hug. The pixie gasped and shook away the dizziness the hug gave her.  

" Uh..I'm Selimene."

" Hi, Selimene!" Raven chirped. " You just saved my best friends! Thank you SO much!" Selimene went home with the other fairies that night and they had a wonderful dinner.

    The next morning, Raven woke up and walked into the small kitchen she could just fit inside her mushroom. The others began to stir and followed her into the room. They were surprised to see Selimene already awake. She was holding a paper and frowning. Scarlett shared a look with Pixie. They walked up to Selimene and placed their hands on her shoulders. Then they screamed. " Pixie!" Scarlett screamed. " You're a....FIRE FAIRY!" 

" You're a Water Fairy!" Pixie gasped. They they looked to the others. The same thing had happened to them!

They looked closely at the paper Selimene was holding. " Oh-no...." Raven murmured. She was in BIG trouble.
