One sunny morning, Aira walked happily along the little river near her village. She loved to listen to the sound of the flowing water and watch the tiny fish swim between the stones.
Suddenly, something unusual caught her attention. A soft, glowing light flickered from deep inside the forest. Aira stopped, tilted her head, and wondered what could be shining so brightly in a place that always seemed so quiet and mysterious.
Curiosity filled her heart, and she decided to take a step into the forest. The moment she entered, the air felt different cooler, fresher, and filled with the scent of wildflowers. The trees around her seemed alive; their leaves sparkled like stars in the night sky, glowing softly above her head. Birds with colorful feathers chirped cheerfully, and though Aira couldn’t quite understand their song, it almost felt like they were trying to speak to her.
“Hello! My name is Lumo. I need your help!”
As Aira walked further, something surprising happened. From behind the glowing bushes, a small creature jumped out. It was a rabbit, but unlike any rabbit she had ever seen before. Its fur was as white as snow, and on its head grew two tiny golden horns that shimmered in the light. Aira gasped, her eyes wide with wonder. The rabbit looked at her kindly and spoke,
“Hello! My name is Lumo. I need your help!”
Aira blinked in disbelief.
“You… you can talk?”
she whispered, her voice filled with amazement. Lumo nodded slowly, his golden horns glowing softly.
“Yes, I can. The Forest of Light is in danger. Its magic is fading away, and without it, everything here will lose its glow. Only someone with a brave and kind heart can help us.”
Aira placed her hands together, her heart racing, unsure if she was dreaming or if this was all real.
“You… you can talk?”
“Yes, I can"
“I’ll help you,”
“Come with me,”
After a moment, Aira nodded firmly. “I’ll help you,” she said. Lumo’s eyes sparkled with hope. “Come with me,” he said, hopping ahead. He led her down a hidden path that twisted and turned between the trees. The tall trunks bent down gently, as if bowing to welcome them. Above their heads, the branches curved into a beautiful archway filled with glowing flowers that lit their way like lanterns. Aira’s eyes widened at the breathtaking sight.
At the end of the path stood a tall crystal fountain. It looked grand and magical, but when Aira stepped closer, her smile faded. The water inside the fountain was no longer shining. Instead, it was dark and dull, swirling sadly as if it had lost its life. Lumo’s voice trembled as he whispered,
“Without the fountain’s light, the whole forest will fade into darkness.”
Aira felt her chest tighten with worry.
Without the fountain’s light, the whole forest will fade into darkness.
