In a small village near a dense forest, Joko lives a quiet life. Every day, he walks into the woods, cuts trees, and sells the wood at the city market. He is living alone in a small bamboo house, and sometimes he is feeling lonely since he has no one to talk to.

One morning, while Joko is carrying woods to the market, he was talking to a little boy that is selling small cloth pouches.

Boy: “Sir, please buy this. It’s a magic pouch.”

Joko (smiling): “Magic? Haha, I don’t believe in magic.”

Boy: “Maybe you should. Sometimes, miracles happen to kind people.”

Feeling pity for the boy, Joko buys the pouch with his last coin.

That night, he opens it and finds three golden seeds shining like stars.

Joko (thinking): “They look strange… I will plant them tomorrow.”

He is planting the seeds beside his house and goes to sleep.

The next morning, Joko is shocked. A huge golden coconut tree has grown overnight, glowing under the sun.

Joko: “This can’t be real!”

Joko: “Lina! Come see this! A giant golden tree just grew behind my house!”

Lina: “Are you serious? Let me see.”

But when she looks, there’s only grass and soil.

Lina (confused): “Joko, there’s nothing here.”

Joko: “You can’t see it? It’s right there!”

Lina was worried, but she knew Joko wasn’t the type to lie. She decided to stay with him for a few days to watch the strange field.

That night, while Joko was sitting near the coconut tree-whom only he could see, he heard a soft voice.

Tree: “Joko... thank you for freeing me.”

Joko: “Who are you?”

Tree: “I am the Spirit of the Golden Seed. Because of your kindness, I will grant you one wish. But remember—greed destroys.”

The next moment, a golden coconut falls from the tree, glowing like fire.

Tree: “Break this coconut when you are ready.”
