Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to eat candy. One day she went to her mother and she asked," Mother can i have candy please?" her mother said, " Maybe another time, because your tooth may hurt. The girl was not happy . 

So the next day, the girl asked her mother again if she could have some candy. This time she agreed. The girl was delighted as she hadn't eaten candy in a long time. "Finally I get to eat some candy!" she exclaimed. She was extremely overjoyed.

Now the next day when she felt like having candy, she did not ask her mother, as she knew that she was allowed to have candy once in a week. She loved drawing and concentrated on her portrait. When she completed it, her mother was so impressed and encouraged her to participate in a drawing competition. The girl agreed and enrolled. She then ran excitedly to the local store to gather her supplies for the drawing competition.

On the day of the competition she was excited and arrived early. She noticed that there were many good artists who had enrolled and felt anxious. Her mother was still cheering for her to win. She took a deep breath and started drawing. As she kept drawing, the artwork turned out to be really nice. Now, she was no longer anxious. As soon as the timer went out, she put her pencil away and admired her own work. When the judge looked at her work of art, he was delighted.

 "Who drew this?", the judge enquired. "That's mine" said the girl proudly. The judge was amazed by the artistic style she portrayed through her artwork. The judge was examining all the entries carefully so that he could declare the winners. The girl waited in anticipation. Finally, the results were declared. The girl won! Her art was chosen, because it was so beautiful!

The girl leaped with joy as this was her first trophy in any major competition.
