To those who are still patiently waiting to hear his voice, don’t lose hope. Keep your ears, heart and soul open, because the messages we seek often come when we least expect them. In moments of silence, remember that every whisper and echo has the potential to reach us. Trust in the process, and stay alert to the signs around you. The connection may be closer than it seems. You just have to hold onto your faith and keep listening. - S.O

One morning, at around 4 a.m., I woke up unexpectedly. The house was completely silent- no creaks from the floor, just stillness. The world outside was wrapped in darkness, and I felt unusually calm. I lay there staring up at the ceiling, then suddenly, the voice of my dad came to my mind. He always told me, “Whenever you wake up early in the morning, make sure to pray silently in your heart.” His words echoed softly in my spirit, comforting me.
So, I decided to do just that. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and whispered in my heart, “Lord, save us from the snares of the devil.” I repeated that prayer again and again, letting it take over my thought process.. Each repetition brought me more peace, and I felt my body relax.
And then, about five minutes later, something beyond imagination happened. I heard a voice—and I felt a holy presence in the room. It wasn’t a dream, and it wasn’t my imagination. It was real. The voice was not harsh or frightening, but full of indescribable power and peace at the same time. It carried authority yet was filled with love, like a father speaking to His child.
It was the most powerful voice I’ve ever heard, but also the most gentle and loving. It felt like time stopped. I wasn’t asleep; I was fully awake, it was as if heaven had opened for just a few moments. The sound was like “many waters” (Revelation 1:15)—like waves crashing and rolling, thundering yet harmonious. The room started to vibrate because of how loud the voice was. It surrounded me, filled me, and I instantly covered my ears. He said, “My Child”. My sister, who shares a room with me, later said she saw me covering my ears, even though my eyes were closed the whole time.
That moment lasted maybe ten seconds, but it felt like an hour. When it was over, I was left breathless. I kept repeating to myself, “I just heard God. He spoke to me.” My heart was racing, but it wasn’t fear—it was awe. I knew that something divine had happened, something sacred, something worth sharing with the world.
That morning changed everything for me. It made me realize that God can reach anyone, anywhere, at any time. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you’ve done, or where you’ve been—His love has no limits. As Romans 8:38–39 says, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
