This story is dedicated to the career of Cristiano Ronaldo and all of the things he has done.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born on February 5, 1985, in Funchal, Portugal, on the small island of Madeira off the country’s southwestern coast.

He didn't grow up in the most ideal environment. His family was poor and Cristiano would do anything to help out.

This is a picture of Cristiano sweeping his hometown streets.
Cristiano fell in love with soccer at a young age. His hometown was small with not much to do, he spent most of his time playing soccer with his friends.

His connection with his mother was unbreakable, she supported his career any way she could. On the other hand his father was a drunk, which led to him and his father having not much of a connection at all.

He had little focus on education, all he cared about was playing soccer. Soccer was an escape for Cristiano. Sporting CP was his first club who signed him at the age of 12.

He was incredibly talented and most of all he had the hardwork to back it up. As things were brightening up for Cristiano he was diagnosed with a severe heart disease at the age of 15.

This heart condition is called Tachcardia, which caused Cristiano's heart to beat faster than the normal heart. This disease needed very risky surgery.

Even though it was very risky Cristiano had the surgery done. Thankfully it was succesful and he was able to leave the hospital the same day.

He had a speedy recovery and was able to play again in only a few days. This surgery was a big turning point in his career. He used it as fuel to keep working at his dream.

2 years later, in the year 2002 he was moved to the senior team for Sporting CP. He was only 17 but had such a successful first season with them.

His first season with Sporting CP gave him lots of attention. This caused him to be signed with Manchester United in 2003 for 12 million euros.

The fans loved Cristiano, he was a young star and inspired kids around the world. Even though he had so much struggle growing up he still made it to the big stage.

Since Cristiano was still young he didn't get much playtime his first 3 years on Manchester United. In 2006 his career took a turn, he started playing some of the best soccer he ever has. He scored 23 goals across all competitions. He also was a huge part of winning the Premier League title.

His finest season with Manchester United came in 2007–08, when he scored 42 League and Cup goals and earned the Golden Shoe award as Europe’s leading scorer, with 31 League goals.

That amazing season he had led him to winning his first Ballon d'Or, which is a trophy gaven to the best player in the world that season.

After 5 years with Manchester United he left. He joined one of Spain's biggest clubs, Real Madrid in 2009. He was bought for a record breaking 94 million euros

At this point in his career he was known for being one of the best players in the world. Scoring many goals while motivating so many other young soccer players.

In the 2010-2011 season with Real Madrid he had 53 goals in 54 games. This was only his first season with them and he had already made the team better.

As the years passed with Real Madrid he continued to play at the top of his game. He won many trophies and awards with them.
