In a world full of gadgets and machines 9 year old Krishiv dreamed of making something different... a robot with a heart.
Krishiv was a bright 9-year-old boy who loved to build things with his toy blocks.
He dreamed of becoming an inventor — someone who could make machines that help people.
One sunny afternoon, his school announced a science fair. The theme was “Technology for a Better World.”
Krishiv thought hard.
“What can I make that helps others?” he wondered.
That evening, his father showed him a small computer program on his tablet.
“This is called Artificial Intelligence, or AI,” his father explained. “It helps machines think and learn like humans!”
Krishiv’s eyes lit up. “Wow! Maybe AI can help me make something useful!”
He spent days learning about how AI could talk, listen, and even help people see or hear better. Then, an idea popped into his head — he would make a talking robot for elderly people who lived alone.
He named the robot “Buddy.”
Buddy could remind people to take their medicine, tell them jokes, and even read the news aloud!
When Krishiv tested it, Buddy said in a cheerful voice,
“Hello, Krishiv! Don’t forget to smile today!”
Krishiv laughed. “You’re the best, Buddy!”
At the science fair, everyone loved Buddy. The judges asked, “Why did you make this robot?”
Krishiv smiled and said,
“Because AI can do more than play games — it can care for people and make them feel less lonely.”
He won first prize, but more importantly, he learned something special — that the best inventions are those that make the world kinder.
From that day, Krishiv dreamed of becoming an AI scientist who would build robots to help the sick, the old, and the poor.
Moral of the Story:
Artificial Intelligence is powerful — but it’s even greater when we use it with kindness and imagination to help others.
