Once upon a time, there was a lion named Larry who was fast asleep in his forest. 

When a mouse named Mike stumbled upon the lion while out exploring. 

Not knowing the direction in which he was going, Mike accidentally scurried across Larry the lion's tail and awakened the mighty beast.

ROOOARRRRR

EKKKKK

The lion jumped up and quickly trapped the mouse under his huge paw with the thoughts of ending the little creature that had disturbed his sleep.

The mouse looked up at the lion terrified and frightened of what might happen to him.

PLEASE!!!

While trapped under the mighty lion's paw, in a desperate tone, the mouse begged for his release. Pleaded with the lion stating he, a tiny mouse, was an insignificant prey.

Larry the lion saw the worry in the mouse's eyes and heard the fear in his voice so he decided to give the mouse a break and generously let him go. 

The mouse, grateful for another chance, looked at the lion and thanked him for being so kind. Mike the mouse also stated he would repay the favor one day and assured the mighty lion that he would not regret his decision to spare his life.

Relieved that he escaped near death, the mouse quickly left in his own direction, while Larry the lion headed off in the opposite direction. 

Larry the Lion was happy about his decision to choose kindness. He felt satisfied with his decision so he decided to continue walking through his forest basking in the satisfaction he felt from doing the right thing. 

However the lion suddenly found himself trapped under a net that had fallen from the trees. 

Two men from the nearby village had trapped Larry the Lion and were planning on taking him back to their village. 

Satisfied with their catch, the men quickly celebrated and decided to go retrieve the cart to carry the lion back.
