  The Live Book

                                  Chapter    1

                                The Story

Once upon a time there was a witch with a book. She enchanted the book, and she turned it alive! But this book had a full-on mouth and nose and everything, so that’s how it turned alive. The interesting part is, the book could talk!? Isn’t that crazy?? Many years later the witch died in her house. Just saying, her house was in the woods. 500 years later that house still stands...

                                 Chapter 2 

                               The Kids

Many years later an ordinary family was living in Ohio. Two parents and 2 kids. They were moving. One of the kids named Fred said: “Come on, get in the car already.” And they got in the car and started their journey to New York… They were at their first stop, the gas station. They got some gas and some potato chips. They ate it all in 30 minutes and there was only 2 hours left until New York. They slept the rest of the way.

When they were in New York they went to Mcdonalds and ate some food.  They were so excited about their new house in New York. When they were in their house, they realized that there was wood behind the house. 

Anyway, it was getting late, and they had to sleep after that long trip.    The next day the sister, Amy, was the first one to wake up. The second one to wake up was Fred, and then the mom, Jennifer, and the dad, Steve. Jennifer said, “Rise and shine kiddos.” Fred and Amy said at the same time “Mornin’ Ma” And then Steve started to tickle the kids so they would get up. They did their morning routine get up, get dressed, comb their hair. Then they went to Waffle House and ate some waffles there. After they ate waffles, they went to Times Square and took a little walk there. After the walk they went back to their house. Remember readers, they’re living in New York now. When they were in their house they chillaxed for a little bit. Fred and Amy played some Video Games on their phones and Jennifer and Steve were on their phones, scrolling on social media.

Then Fred asked, “Can we go look in the woods?” Amy said” Yeah!” Mom and dad said “Ok” while they were on their phones. Then the kids went to the woods from their beautiful backyard. They went really deep into it until they saw a worn-out house…

Sure, but be careful!

Can we go in the woods?

                                                 Chapter 3

                   How They Found it

They moved closer to the house then Amy said, “let’s go in it.” Fred said “sure”. Then they went in it. There was a book in the house. They went closer and then the book snapped forward and said, “If y’all move any closer I will bite you.” Both Fred and Amy screamed for help. But they were too deep in the woods to be heard. Then Amy said in a shaky voice” Who are you.”. Then the book said, “I’m the Live Book.”. Amy and Fred were shocked. Then the Live Book told Amy and Fred his story, about how the witch turned him alive and died in this house/hut. The book told them how it was his first time in centuries he’d ever talked. Then Amy and Fred told the book they had to go before dark. So, they said their goodbyes and went home…

                                                    Chapter 4

               Keep it a Secret 

When Amy and Fred went home it was dark, and their parents said that it was time to go to bed. The next morning Fred and Amy had a little chat about the book that they saw yesterday. They asked their mom and dad if they could go to the woods again. Then the mom said” what is so interesting about the woods?” Fred and Amy had to come up with an excuse, and quick. Then Fred said, “We love the flowers, and we want to pick some.” Mom was suspicious but she let Amy and Fred go to the woods again. They went to worn-out house to talk to the Live Book. The book said if anyone found out about him they’re in big trouble. They said goodbye to him and picked some flowers for their excuse…

                                    Chapter 5

                   In Trouble

The next day the kids woke up, then the parents. The parents told the kids that they were suspicious about what they were doing in them and that they wanted to know. Amy and Fred panicked. The Live Book told them that if anyone found out about him, they would be in big trouble. Then Fred told Amy that they should confess to the parents. The kids told the parents that they didn’t just like the flowers, they were going to a worn-out house with a book that’s alive named The Live Book. They were in big trouble. Amy and Fred told the parents that they were really sorry but if anyone found out all of them would be in trouble. The parents wanted to see the book in person and told them the kids to show them...

Do you guys have to tell us something?!

The kids thought their secret was safe, but parents have eyes sharper than magic.
