To all the little recycling heroes...

PART 1:Reduce
One morning, Lili was walking to school and saw plastic bottles, papers, and snack wrappers scattered along the street. She felt sad.

Lili saw it and said, “Oh no! We have to reduce our energy use, too!” She ran to tell the teacher...
Then, afterwards, the lesson began. When it was time to go outside and play, the teacher forgot to turn off the lights and left the interactive board on.

When the teacher heard Lily, she smiled and said, “You’re absolutely right, Lily! We should always remember to reduce our energy use.”That afternoon, the class talked about other ways to reduce waste. The students said:
We can bring our own water bottles instead of buying plastic ones
We can also share books instead of buying new ones all the time
The teacher wrote all their ideas on the board. Together, they made a big poster that said:"Less energy, less plastic, more nature!”
We can use both sides of paper
PART 2: Reuse
When Lily came home from school her mum was preparing dinner. She asked how were things at school and Lily told her about a poster she made with classmates and nature friendly ideas they declared.
"Oh, what a great idea! Then move to action!" mum smiled at Lily's enthusiasm. "You can organize a Book Sharing Day at school! Surely everyone has books that have been read many times and are just lying on their bookshelves. You can exchange them with your friends instead of buying the new ones!"
The next morning Lily eagerly was going to school, looking forward to the moment when she could tell her teacher and friends about Book Sharing Day.

On her way to school, Lily looked around. Shortly afterwards, a strange sight caught her attention.
Several colorful plastic bottle caps lay on the sidewalk—blue, green, and even one red. A crow landed on one of the caps and began poking at it curiously with its beak. The bird kept trying to lift the cap, as if checking to see if it was something edible. Lilė quickly ran over, the crow flew away, and she picked up the cap, realizing that a bottle cap collection campaign was needed so that such dangerous items would no longer be scattered on the streets.

When he got to school, he immediately ran to his teacher and told her about the crow incident. "Teacher, what would happen if we collected all the lids, bottles, cardboard boxes on the ground and gave them a magical touch?
Her teacher was delighted. "That's a great idea, Lily! That trash might actually be hidden treasure!" Lily and her friends started collecting the lids, used toilet paper rolls, and empty yogurt containers they found around the schoolyard
