Thank you to all teachers and staff at SGE for all the hard work you put in every day.
Órale! Let's get it!
Waylon and Oliver Long

It was sunny December morning, Waylon and Oliver were walking into their school, Shadowglen Elementary.
It was the Friday before Winter Break. The school was buzzing with energy because everyone was ready for break. It felt like there was electricity in the air. The hallways were decorated for the holidays, the classrooms were preparing to have their holiday parties.

Waylon and Oliver thought the electricity they felt was just because it was the day before break and everyone was excited. Little did they and all the Bobcats know, this was a holiday they will never forget.
Good morning boys," said Ms. Young and Ms. Henry as the kids walked to their classes. Waylon and Ollie did their secret handshake and went to their classrooms.
It was a normal morning and the 5th graders were off to specials to start their day. Ms McLester's class went to the library. As they walked to the library, the lights flickered. "That's strange," thought Waylon, "it's like all the holiday excitement is getting to everything, even the building."
The students were picking out their books and settling down to read their biographies. When all of a sudden, the class heard loud chomping noises coming from the hallway.
The class looked out in the hallway and saw the holiday decorations outside of Ms. Raney's office were going crazy. The class that was walking by was trying to stay away from the danger.
The tree and the wreath were climbing up the walls and onto the ceiling. And the presents under the tree were trying to chomp on the kids that were walking past.
Ms. Scroggins stepped in and said to the 5th graders, "BOBCATS STAY HERE! I need to assemble The Fantastic 5." She ran and pressed the secret button that unveiled an emergency tunnel.
The kids were trying to fight them off. But it was no use, the kids were not strong enough.
The students watched with amazement.
"Who are the Fantastic 5?" whispered Aries.
And all of a sudden his question was answered. The Fantastic 5 were none other than the specials teachers at Shadowglen Elementary.
Ms. Vasquez- the computer teacher, Coach Terrell- the PE teacher, Ms. Palmer- the art teacher, and Ms. Davis-the music teacher all came running through the secret tunnel and joined Ms. Scroggins- the library teacher.
Coach Terrell jumped into action first, grabbing her wiffle ball bat, she started swinging at the presents and stopping them from chomping on the kids. One by one, all the presents were crushed by the bat.
Ms. S said, "Team, we need to work together to save the day and keep the kids from getting hurt. The holiday decorations were electrified from all the excitement. They've come to life and are going crazy. We need to stop them."
