For all the wonderful teachers and students in our eTwinning project, who build STEAM adventures and cultural bridges together, this book of mascots is lovingly dedicated to you.

Wall-E the Cardboard Explorer
Rareș Budeanu is a Preparatory Class pupil at “Dr. Ioan Mihalyi de Apșa” Secondary School in Sighetu Marmației. For our eTwinning project, he created this amazing Wall-E robot from recycled cardboard and proudly became the little engineer of our class. Wearing his Wall-E costume, Rareș shows how creativity, recycling and technology can come together in a fun STEAM adventure.
This joyful mascot is made entirely from recycled materials: cardboard boxes for the body and head, folded paper for the colourful accordion arms and legs, and green pipe cleaners for the antennae. With his big smile and bright shapes on his chest, the Recycled STEAM Buddy invites children to create, reuse materials and build “bridges” between art, engineering and environmental care.

The Recycled STEAM Buddy
Sami , a chameleon mascot friend from Samos island

I am a chameleon and my homeland is Samos, an island in Greece.
I am a rare and protected species.

I could become known in Europe, as I am an expert in camouflage techniques, flexible in my natural environment, and creative and besides, look at me... my body looks like a bridge!!!

-Sami,
you look great,
my friend!

Kindergarten of Chora,Samos,Greece (class 2)
Bridgey
the mascot

Hi!!! I am ... .

Hi there!!! Nice to meet you!!!
Children had a really nice time when they collaborated in order to create their own mascot. Although there were a lot of different options for our friend, finally we voted and we ended up with this colorful happy guy who is full of energy and curiosity.

I was made of little by little hands .... look how they are cuddling me...

Our "STEAM Bridge Buddy"
The students of Kindergarten of Chora Samos- Greece (Class 1) created their own mascot with lots of imagination and color. "STEAM Bridge Buddy" is a cute mobile mascot-bridge that connects cultures, monuments, and schools

A little mascot that... is also a bridge!
Its body is a folding bridge made from a strip of cardboard in an "accordion" shape.
When you pull it from the ends → it opens and closes like a movable bridge. It has many colors that symbolize the imagination and creativity of the members of the "Culture Quest: Building Bridges with STEAM" team. There, students will stick photos of the monuments they have visited.

The body rests on a fabric head. The arms and legs are also made of paper rolls wrapped in fabric and can be moved.

Hello! You can use me as a theater puppet!
