As part of welcoming the New Year, schools will be divided into pairs for the purpose of a gift exchange. Students will send a photo of the plastic-free gift they have chosen to their partner school, a process that the other school will follow as well.
The gift can be either a plastic-free item that already exists within the school or a craft created by the children. The photo of the gift must be accompanied by a text justifying the choice.

Patrycja Kacprzak

Our gift for the first kindergarten of Makrochori is a Christmas stocking made from paper and cotton pads. We used eco glue.
The stocking is large, it can hold a lot of happiness!
Anthoula Zissi

Our gift for the students of Patrycja from Poland!
We chose glass jars, which we decorated by painting Christmas images. We put a candle in the middle and wish you a beautiful and creative year!
Eleftheria Tsiali
Our symbolic gift for Margarida΄s Paim students is a small tank-shaped toy made entirely from recyclable materials.
We wish that the new year brings all children around the world more love, peace and a cleaner Earth!
Happy and peaceful New Year!

An Environmentally Friendly Gift for you
With our own hands we created this special gift, without using plastic!
We reused a glass jar that was going to be thrown away and transformed it into a hanging vase, using leftover string we had in the classroom.
Inside lives an aquatic plant, which is very important for purifying the air and for our planet!
With this gift, we want to show that we love you very much and also that caring for the environment is very important for all of us!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Your partners.

Kleopatra Mantzourani, 3rd Kindergarten of Keratea, Greece

Through our eTwinning project, children transformed a reused glass jar into a non-plastic gift. This activity helped them understand the value of recycling and caring for our environment.
This handmade non-plastic gift is exchanged as part of our eTwinning collaboration, celebrating teamwork, friendship and care for the environment.

For our New Year's gift exchange, our students created a classic Tic-Tac-Toe board game!In line with our plastic-free theme, we used natural stones collected by the children and a simple piece of recycled cardboard for t e board. It is a wonderful, eco-friendly way to have fun and practice strategic thinking.
We hope you enjoy playing with it as much as we enjoyed making it! Happy New Year!"
