Blue Town and
the Stopped
Clock

Emine Koşucu

One of the children stepped forward bravely.
“I can take responsibility,” the child said.
The others listened carefully and agreed.
The child checked the map and held it gently.
“Everyone has a job,” the child said.
They understood that being responsible helps everyone.
A small symbol appeared on the map.
It was the Responsibility Place.

The children looked at the map together.
They saw that the next task was too hard for one person.
So they decided to work together.
Everyone shared an idea.
They helped each other and did not give up.
A new place appeared on the map: the Cooperation Place.

As the children explored Nature Protection Land, they realized this place was different from the others. Here, every small action mattered.
They noticed paths made of recycled stones and benches built from old wood.In the distance, a forest waited quietly, and a lake reflected the sky like a mirror.Suddenly, the map showed new symbols they had never seen before. Some areas were still gray, as if they needed help. The children looked at each other and wondered what they should do next. They knew there were many choices:protecting animals, saving energy, cleaning the land, or teaching others how to care for nature. The journey was not over yet.New challenges were waiting on the map…

The children decided to start with the gray area closest to the lake.
When they walked there, they saw trash near the water and birds looking for food.
Everyone helped together. Some collected waste, some separated recycling, and others gently cleaned the lake’s edge. As they worked, the gray color on the map slowly turned green.
A small symbol of a bird appeared and began to shine. The children smiled. They understood that nature responded when it was cared for.Their journey to protect nature would continue.

The map glowed again, leading them to a new path. This time, they arrived at Energy Saving Valley.
Pati pointed to the houses in the distance. Even though the sun was shining brightly, all the lights were left on. "Resources are precious," Pati purred. "When we use only what we need, the world breathes better."
The children understood the message. They quickly worked together to remind everyone to turn off unnecessary lights and use the power of the sun. As they saved energy, a golden sun symbol appeared on the map. The big clock in the town square moved one more tick. They were getting closer to fixing everything!

As the golden sun symbol appeared, the map shimmered once more.
Two gray symbols began to glow softly, guiding the children deeper into Nature Protection Land.
Pati pointed ahead, where small animals were hiding near broken nests and dry bushes. “The animals need safety and care,” she said gently.

The children moved quietly.
They rebuilt nests with twigs and leaves, filled bowls with clean water, and placed signs asking people to protect the animals’ homes. The birds returned, a small hedgehog peeked out, and the forest felt alive again.
On the map, a bright animal paw symbol appeared, painting itself with warm colors.

Soon after, the map showed another path leading back toward the town. This time, the task was not about fixing nature, but about teaching others.
The children talked to families and friends, showing them how to recycle, save water, and respect plants and animals. They drew posters and shared simple ideas everyone could follow.

As people listened and joined in, the last gray area on the map began to fill.
A new symbol slowly formed - a leaf with open hands around it, glowing with green and blue light.
The big clock in Blue Town clicked once more, but the map remained open, hinting that more lessons were still waiting to be discovered…
