Once upon time, in the dinosaur age, there lived a jellyfish in the deep blue sea.
This jellyfish's name was Iris. Iris was born with a unique color. Iris was born with a bright blue color with a trace of pink. No other jellyfish in the sea had this color. All of the jellyfish were only born pink with no trace of blue. Rumor has it, a translucent meteorite rained down the time that Iris was born, and she was struck by one. No one really knows the full story because not too long after she was lost in the midst of the storm, and she was separated from her parents.

Because of her bright and unique color, she was made fun of by other jellyfish when she went to Jelly Elementary School. "You have a funny looking color," said the other jellyfish. "Why is she blue?" said another jellyfish. Iris's bright and unique color made her feel left out, and no one wanted to be her friend because she looked different than the other jellyfish.
Everyday, Iris wondered if there was anyone out there that could love her for her. She had never been close to the surface of the water before, and she had heard stories of other jellyfish swimming close to the surface of the water and even seeing other creatures like turtles and frogs, but never close enough to ever meet one! She wished to go and see if there would be anyone out there who would accept her. She never wanted to go alone, but she did not have friends to go with.
One day, while all of the other fish were in school, Iris mustered up some courage and swam towards the surface of the water, but she got so excited that she swam towards the SHORE! A place no other jellyfish dared to go! While she was there, there were many huge and tall creatures (humans), and she was afraid!
She began to lose her way. The waves crashed against her, the light from the sunlight began to dim as the day was coming to a sudden end when suddenly, she heard a strange voice from afar!

"Do you need help?!" It was a frog! She had never met one in real life. This frog told her the way that she should go to get home. Iris asked the frog why he was out here all alone. He said, "I've lived alone as far as I can remember." Iris felt that she connected with this frog a lot and asked for his name. He said, "Nice to meet you, my name is Junior!
Iris and Junior met everyday near the shore and became really good friends!
Until one day, Iris and Junior were playing in the water together, and a large wave came and swept Junior up! Iris's body moved before she could even think.
