Chapter 1: No Halo
Everyone loved Sophie. She was the youngest angel, and she was the favorite. In every place she flew, her smile lit up the room like the sun brightens the day.
She assisted people in every way she could. She always made people on earth feel much better. She helped them solve their issues, and brought joy to everyone she encountered.
The only problem was, Sophie had no halo.

All of the other angels' halos shined as they went to and from helping people. Sophie would quietly observe the other angels, and wonder why she didn't have a halo like everyone else.
"Maybe I'm just not as good as them," Sophie pondered.

As time traveled on, Sophie's heart began to sink because she still had no halo. Other angels were getting theirs before her.
She thought to herself, "Maybe I need to do more in order for me to get my halo." She began to get up earlier and work longer, helping as many people as she could throughout the day.
The more Sophie went out, the more tired she became. As the weeks passed, she became more and more drained.

Sophie began to work overtime to get her halo. While the other angels were asleep, she was flying here and there assisting more people.
Her bright ray of sunshine slowly began to fade. The smile she once shared was replaced by a sigh. "I wish I could just get a halo, I don't know if it will ever happen."

Chapter 2: Surprise!
Sophie was very tired, but she kept working hard anyway. The harder she worked, the less energy she had. One afternoon, Sophie wasn't feeling well. She started drooping everywhere she went, and she almost fell when flying!
One day, while Sophie was sitting on the cloud, one of the angels came and stood in front of her.

"Sophie, the guardian of the angels wants to see you."
"Okay," sighed Sophie.
Sophie hesitantly rose and followed the angel. She slumped behind the angel down the corridor of cottony clouds until they stood before the great doors of the guardian angel's domain.

Sophie inhaled deeply as the angel began to open the colossal doors.
She thought she was going to be removed from being a helper angel. The light from inside temporarily blinded Sophie. She put her wing up to partially cover her eyes because of the brightness.
As she began to step inside, suddenly she heard....
"SURPRISE!"

Completely astonished, Sophie flew backwards.
She could not believe her eyes. Time seemed to stop and Sophie's heart began to pound. She froze. She could not speak. She could not move. She was astounded.
There, standing in front of her, was the Guardian of the Angels.
In his enormous hands, rested a halo. It was glistening so brightly that its brilliance illuminated the entire domain.

"What's happening?" Sofie asked. "Well, I've noticed how kind you are everyday to each and every angel, but it seems like you don't have a halo yet, so I decided you shall get one." "Wow! Really? This is like a dream come true!" Sofie exclaimed.
"It's no problem and plus you deserve it, especially for working overtime. You helped out so much," the guardian said. Sophie was jumping with joy knowing that she has a halo now, hugging the guardian so tight he couldn't breathe.
.

"I really appreciate this Sir."
"We'll see you later, Sofie. Hope you have a fantastic day!" the guardian proclaimed.
"You too!" Sophie chirped back with a sound of joy.
Sophie was skipping across the clouds, grinning from ear to ear. She couldn't wait to show everyone her new halo after not having one for so long. All she could think about is who she could tell first.
.

Chapter 3: Work, Work, Work
Sophie wasted no time to show everyone. She told her friends, her family, and even random animals she saw. She just couldn't resist.
Suddenly, the angel guardian called for Sophie. She went to go check what was happening and all of the sudden when she got there, the guardian needed more help, so she needed to work overtime.
